Hashirama sighed and looked at his younger brother.
"Tobirama, I know what you're thinking. You can go and at least try to talk to them. At least the truth will come out," Hashirama said.
Tobirama sighed deeply, and so did Hashirama.
Meanwhile, Arata, who had gone back to his room, paused for a moment. He knew something was wrong with his uncle. His instincts told him that something was off, so he decided to return and listen to their conversation in secret. However, he couldn't hear anything useful.
Realizing that eavesdropping wouldn't work, he decided to take a more direct approach.
"Uncle Tobirama, did something happen in the past?" Arata asked.
Hashirama hesitated but then sighed. "Back then, son… you know your uncle Tobirama hated the Uchiha clan a lot. Now that you've talked about peace with them, he's trying to be okay with it, but…"
Hashirama didn't want to reveal the full truth. He was trying to avoid the topic. But Arata wasn't going to let it slide.
"Father, please tell me the truth," Arata insisted.
Hashirama went silent for a moment before finally speaking. He told Arata everything—Tobirama's past, his relationship with Shizuka Sarutobi, and the child he had abandoned.
Arata was shocked.
"Wait… are you telling me that Uncle Tobirama has a son in the Sarutobi clan? Am I hearing this right?"
It was shocking. No—it was beyond shocking!
Sarutobi Hiruzen? That manipulative bastard?!
The man Arata had always seen as a dangerous threat, someone who could stab him in the back, was actually his cousin? Blood-related? The future Third Hokage, the one he had been thinking about eliminating, was actually family?!
He clenched his fists. His mind was racing.
He had planned to manipulate Hiruzen. He had thought of ways to deal with him, maybe even kill him before he could become a problem. But now… now he realized Hiruzen was his younger cousin.
This changed everything.
Arata turned toward Tobirama, who had been silent the whole time.
"Why didn't you ever say this before, Uncle?" he asked.
But Tobirama remained quiet, avoiding his gaze.
Hashirama sighed. "Your uncle… he never fully accepted it. And as his brother, I failed him. I couldn't change anything."
Tobirama suddenly stood up and left without saying another word. He didn't look back. He was lost in his own thoughts.
Arata watched him go, then took a deep breath.
He had gained a lot of resources in the Senju compound over the years. Most people were too focused on war to even explore the treasures left behind. No one cared about the past, except for the rare moments when they searched for battle techniques or scrolls.
But Arata?
Arata had spent years digging into the past. He had found many things—artifacts, scrolls, secrets about Hagoromo, Hamura, Indra, and Asura. He had kept those things hidden for himself.
For six years, he had been gathering information. Planning.
Even as a baby, he had started making preparations. The first two years were humiliating—he couldn't do anything. But once he grew older, he started setting things in motion.
And now… now everything was different.
He looked at Hashirama. "Father, I'm going back to my room. Call me when the battle starts."
Hashirama gave him a small, knowing smile. "Alright, son. Go ahead."
Arata left, deep in thought.
"Hiruzen is my younger cousin, just like how Tsunade and Nawaki. This changes everything. How much of history has already shifted because of my existence here? I need a new plan."
As he was walking, he suddenly noticed something.
"Uncle Tobirama? What's he doing here?"
He saw Tobirama standing near the gate, looking lost in thought.
And then, in his mind, a familiar voice rang out.
Ding!
System has detected that your Uncle Tobirama is in distress. Three choices have been generated.
Option 1: Since your uncle is in a bad mood, go to him and insult him. Rub salt in his wounds. Make him feel even more PAIN. Make him hate the Uchiha even more. Forget about your speech about peace. Reward: All of Tobirama's secret Senju techniques.
Option 2: Seeing your Uncle Tobirama's condition, try to bring Hiruzen back to the Senju Clan. Convince Tobirama to acknowledge his son. But be warned—Sarutobi Sasuke has already seen Hiruzen as his own child and will resist. Reward: Sarutobi Sasuke's deep hatred.
Option 3: Comfort your Uncle Tobirama. Let him release all his suppressed hatred and slowly accept the truth. Help him heal. Reward: Space-Time Ninjutsu—Flying Thunder God Technique. (Note: This is the improved version used by Minato.)
Arata smirked.
"Well… now this is interesting."
Maybe it was fate. Maybe it was the system. Whatever it was—luck, destiny, or something else—it was helping Arata bring another piece of his plan together.
He had already prepared for this.
After all, everything had gone according to his plan so far. Even if the system hadn't shown up, he would have done this anyway.
He looked at the options again.
First option? No way. That was just cruel. Tobirama was his uncle. Why would he make things worse for him?
Second option? Not good either. Hiruzen was already adopted into the Sarutobi clan. It was impossible to change his name to Senju now. Plus, he was the only male heir of the Sarutobi clan. Even if Arata somehow brought him back, people would despise Hiruzen for his illegitimacy. He would be treated like Naruto—an outcast. That wasn't something Arata wanted.
Third option…?
Hmm.
It wasn't bad. In fact, it was the best choice.
All three options had their own benefits, but Arata could learn from Tobirama anytime. His uncle wasn't going anywhere. The real problem here was Tobirama and Shizuka Sarutobi. If this had happened in the modern world, it would have been a normal situation i mean this problem could have been solve easily through DNA test. But in this era? In this era, marriage was like an exam. One mistake, and everything could fall apart.
Honestly, if Arata had been in Tobirama's place, he would have destroyed the entire ninja world by now.
"Uncle sure had it rough," Arata thought.
But after thinking about everything, he made his decision. He would help his uncle. He chose the third option.
"Maybe this is the will of the Sage of Six Paths," Arata thought.
Then again, wasn't the true god of this world Shibai Otsutsuki?
Shaking his head, he walked toward the river.
As he got closer, he heard something.
"Hiruzen… will you blame me?"
It was Tobirama.
He was staring at the water, watching the fish swim. His face was blank, but Arata could feel it. The pain in his heart.
Arata sighed.
"Uncle," he called out.
Tobirama flinched slightly. He quickly wiped his face, as if trying to erase his emotions, and turned to his nephew.
"Arata? What are you doing here?" he asked.
Arata could see it.
His uncle regretted everything.
Maybe Hiruzen was his son. Maybe he wasn't. But that uncertainty, that small chance… It had haunted Tobirama for years.
And because of that guilt, all the love he couldn't give to Hiruzen… He Give it into Arata Senju his Nephew.
