Almost all the Senju clan members had agreed to peace, except for 25 people who still held hatred in their hearts. Seeing this, Arata Senju turned toward them and asked,

"What do you think?" He looked at the dead bodies on his right. "Almost everyone has chosen peace. Why can't you?"

One of the young boys stepped forward. "Young Lord, my father, my big brother, and my younger brother all died in this war. I'm the only man left in my family, with just my mother. How can I let go of my hatred for the Uchiha?" said Sasuke Senju, clenching his fists. The others behind him nodded in agreement—they all had similar stories, similar pain.

Arata sighed. "I understand how you feel. I really do. But think about it—you're the last man in your family. If you die, your family will disappear forever. Do you want that?"

He took a deep breath before continuing. "Almost the entire clan has agreed to peace. We need peace. We don't need this war anymore. If you let go of your hatred, we can build something new—a village that belongs to all of us. A place where the Senju and Uchiha can live together. A ninja school where children can grow up safely instead of being sent to the battlefield at a young age. A place where missions are assigned according to a shinobi's strength, so they don't end up dying in wars they aren't ready for. Isn't that a better future?"

The remaining 25 people started to hesitate.

Arata remembered something from his previous life—Strike the hammer when the iron is hot. He was using that exact method now.

A sudden realization hit Sasuke Senju. If I die, my family will really be gone forever...

One by one, they discussed among themselves, and eventually, they stepped forward to stand by Arata's side. They had chosen peace. The war was finally coming to an end.

At that moment, a voice echoed in Arata's head.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have successfully completed your task! You are rewarded with +10% favorability from the Uchiha Clan!

Hearing this, Arata let out a deep sigh of relief. He had done it.

Now that everyone had agreed, Arata looked at them and said, "Since we're all on the same page now, let's go to the meeting room. The elders and my father are already there."

Inside the meeting room, the Senju elders and Hashirama already knew the outcome. The things Arata had said had shaken them to their core. They felt guilty—guilty for killing blindly without even questioning why the war had started in the first place.

For the first time in a long while, Hashirama felt truly happy. His lifelong dream was finally coming true—the same dream that people used to mock him for.

"Good. Now that everyone agrees, it's time to talk to the Uchiha and plan the peace agreement," Hashirama said with a relieved smile. "After this, there will be no more bloodshed. No more senseless war. Because this war… was started by us in the first place."

However, one elder spoke up with concern. "But the Uchiha clan are the ones who challenged us to war. If they refuse, we'll have to fight them tomorrow, right?"

Some other elders nodded, understanding the reality of the situation. Even if the Senju wanted peace, the Uchiha had to agree too.

Hashirama took a deep breath. "Yes, we will go to the battlefield tomorrow. But none of you will fight. Tobirama, Arata, and I will go to negotiate with Madara. This time, I will speak for peace. I don't want any more Senju to die in this war."

His voice was calm, firm, and reassuring. Deep down, he wasn't sure how Madara would react. But he still believed—somewhere inside Madara was the boy he once knew, the one he used to meet at the river, the one he used to play and laugh with.

One of the elders nodded. "Very well. Lord Hashirama will arrange everything. We will talk again tomorrow."

As the elders left, one of the clan members muttered, "I hope we can reach an agreement."

The mood in the clan had changed. Seeing their people eager for peace, the elders all shared the same thought—this war had to end.

Soon, the meeting was over, and only Hashirama, Tobirama, and Arata remained in the room.

Hashirama smiled at his son. "Not bad, Arata. You finally succeeded in something I couldn't do, even after 30 years."

Arata grinned. "Father, looks like I surpassed you… at least in something, right?"

Hashirama chuckled, placing a hand on his son's head. For the first time in a long while, there was hope for a new future.

Hashirama looked at his younger brother, Tobirama, and noticed the unease on his face. He seemed unhappy, deep in thought.

"Tobirama, what's wrong? You look troubled," Hashirama asked. "I know you hate the Uchiha, but peace is the only way to stop this mindless war. We can't let everyone keep fighting just because of that hatred."

He was about to continue when Tobirama looked at him seriously. Seeing the tension between them, Arata quietly left the room and returned to his own.

This was something from the distant past—something buried deep in Tobirama's heart. A memory that still haunted him.

It was about Sarutobi Shizuka.

Back then, when Shizuka was Kidnaped by the Uchiha, Tobirama suspected that she was already pregnant. But after she was released, his anger consumed him. He wanted her to abort the child. He refused to accept that the baby growing inside her had anything to do with him.

This all started years ago.

Around seven or eight years earlier, after getting drunk, Tobirama and Shizuka Sarutobi had spent the night together. A child was conceived that night. But just two days after, Shizuka was kidnapped—taken away by Uchiha's on Their Wedding Day.

By the time she returned, she was pregnant.

But Tobirama, blinded by pride and anger, refused to acknowledge the child as a Senju.

With no other choice, Shizuka lied to her father. She couldn't tell him the truth. Instead, she claimed the child belonged to the Sarutobi Clan.

Her older brother, Sarutobi Sasuke, had lost his children to the war. He and his wife were unable to have more. So, when Shizuka presented the child as an orphan she had taken in, Sasuke was grateful. He accepted the boy and raised him as his own.

That child was named Sarutobi Hiruzen.
