One Piece: A Love Strong since Childhhod

The knife that I had used to kill the marine soldiers who had come at me also cut the ropes that held Zoro. I run back to him and help him to his feet after he could stand. "Zoro, you're hurt." I noticed a cut on his cheek.

He smiled. "It's nothing." He placed a hand on my cheek. "I would die a thousand deaths to be with you."

A loud alarm went off in the distance. "Warning, warning prisoner has escaped." Marine soldiers started gathering towards the Execution Grounds.

I knew that if both of us got caught, Zoro and I would be killed. I felt Zoro pick me as the soldiers started to surround us. "Naughty boy, what are you planning? We're gonna be killed."

A smirk came over Zoro's face. "Hold on. We're getting out of here." He lifted me and ran towards the wall that separated him from freedom. Once on the other side of the wall, Zoro set me on my feet when he spotted Luffy watching. "Who's he?"

Luffy smiled big. "I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm a pirate."

Zoro broke down laughing. "Are you for real? There is no way that you're a pirate. You have no ship or crew."

Luffy continued to smile. "Not yet but I'm looking for them. I think I found my first two members."

"Yeah? Who are those might be?"

"You and Kat of course."

Zoro started laughing again. "Oh, please. Pretty Kitty and I would join you on some crazy journey. We don't even know anything about you."

"We need to take you to the inn for rest. Your swords are already there, waiting for you. Please, Zoro, you need to heal." I fought back tears.

Zoro nodded. "Of course."

We head back down the hill towards the town and to the local inn. As we entered back into town, there were mummers that Zoro was alive and had escaped the firing squad. "So it's true? Zoro was able to escape?"

I opened the door to the inn.

The owner looked up. "Ah, Katherine, you're here. Everything is prepared for you and your swordsmen." He winked. 

I giggle. "Well, Zoro does know how to sleep food off. That's off."

Zoro lifted his head slowly. "Food isn't the only thing I can sleep off."
