One Piece: A Love Strong since Childhhod

Chapter 4: 9 years later

I was out walking the streets when I spotted a wanted poster. Wanted dead or alive Ronoro Zoro for the murder of a Marine Leader. Will be killed by fire squad. My heart stopped for a moment. This can't be true. Zoro wouldn't murder and officer. This can't happen. I knew that I had to do something to stop this from happening. I tore the wanted poster off the shop wall and threw it into the trash.

The shop's owner saw me do it. "Hey, you can't do that. You must be Zoro's accomplice."

I walked over to him and set two daggers on the counter, ignoring the question. "Tell me, good sir, what do you know of this so-called murder? Did you witness it?"

The man smiled big when he noticed that it was me. "My God, Katherine Lee. You're grown into a woman. I did not witness the murder. No one did they say that Zoro snuck into the room and used a three strike on Captain Highlyn."

I laughed. "Well, the three strike has always been Zoro's specialty. Do you know where they are holding him?"

He nodded. "The Marine base just at the top of the hill. I would be careful however. If the Marines catch you entering the Firing Zone, you will also be killed. Also, a strange boy is wandering around town."

"A strange boy? What you mean Mr. Stan?"

Mr. Stan finished checking me out before leaning forward. A boy who wears a straw hat and who might be made out of rubber. He claims to have eaten one of the Devil Fruits."

I raised an eyebrow. "The Devil Fruits are nothing but myths. If one eats one of those, they lose the ability to swim." I thanked him and made my way to the Marine base to free the man I love. On the way I ran into the strange boy that Mr. Stan had just told me about. "Who are you? You must be the one with the straw hat."

The boy nodded. "My name is Monkey D. Luffy. I'm looking for a crew to set sail with me."

"A crew for what? You don't have a ship. Now if you excuse me, I have a boyfriend to rescue."
