JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Horizons

Chapter 15: Chapter 12: The Storm Bringer

Haruto Fujiwara and the Tempest Waltz!

---

Prologue: The Gathering Clouds

The city was silent.

But the sky told a different story.

Dark clouds loomed over the skyline, heavy with tension. The air was thick with the scent of incoming rain.

And in the heart of it all—

A single figure stood atop a rooftop, staring down at the streets below.

Haruto Fujiwara.

His coat billowed as a gust of wind tore through the buildings.

A storm was coming.

And he was waiting for it.

---

Phase One: A Dangerous Invitation

Renji adjusted his tie, flipping through his tarot deck. "This guy's a wild card."

Shoji sighed. "Great. Another loose cannon."

Akira ignored them, staring at the darkening sky. "Haruto's not just strong—he's unpredictable. If we don't approach carefully, we're the ones who'll get swept away."

Daisuke cracked his knuckles. "Then let's make sure he sees us as allies, not enemies."

Kenji snorted. "That depends if he's in a good mood."

Nao crossed her arms. "If he's already using Tempest Waltz, he's not."

Lightning flashed in the distance.

Akira exhaled. "Then we better move fast."

---

Phase Two: A Storm's Test

They found him at an abandoned parking lot.

Haruto leaned against a rusted railing, arms crossed, a cigarette between his lips. His black coat was soaked from the misty drizzle.

He didn't look at them immediately.

Then—

"Yo."

His voice was lazy. Unbothered.

Akira stepped forward. "Haruto."

Haruto finally glanced at them, exhaling smoke. "Took you long enough."

Daisuke raised an eyebrow. "You knew we were coming?"

Haruto smirked. "Storms always bring something interesting."

Kenji stepped forward. "We need your help."

Silence.

Then—

Haruto chuckled. "Help?"

He took another drag of his cigarette.

Then flicked it into the wind.

Lightning cracked.

And in an instant—

The air around them shifted.

A gust of wind slammed into the ground, sending dust and debris flying.

Haruto's Stand manifested behind him.

Tempest Waltz.

A towering specter, its form made of swirling clouds and lightning veins.

The sky darkened further.

Haruto grinned.

"You want my help?"

He raised his hand.

"Then survive this."

---

Phase Three: The Eye of the Storm

A hurricane erupted.

The winds howled, twisting into a vortex.

Daisuke dashed forward—but the storm threw him back.

Kenji dug his heels in, Titan Soul reinforcing his stance—

But the winds shifted, knocking him off balance.

Shoji activated Eclipse Waltz, trying to distort Haruto's memory of their location—

But lightning shattered the illusion.

Nao cursed, shielding her eyes. "Damn it—his control is insane!"

Akira gritted his teeth.

Haruto wasn't just creating wind—

He was controlling every single current.

Which meant—

Akira adjusted his glasses. "We're not fighting a storm."

He clenched his fists.

"We're fighting the guy conducting it."

---

Phase Four: Playing the Right Notes

Akira took a deep breath.

Then—

He activated Echo Chamber.

Sound waves rippled outward, cutting through the howling wind.

Haruto tilted his head. "Oh?"

Akira's Stand mimicked the frequency of the storm—

Then reversed it.

A shockwave rippled outward—

And for a split second, the wind stopped.

Daisuke moved instantly.

He launched forward, Gale Phantom propelling him at breakneck speed.

Haruto's grin widened. "Not bad."

He snapped his fingers.

The storm returned.

But it was too late.

Daisuke was already in front of him.

His fist blurred—

And slammed into Haruto's jaw.

BOOM.

The wind exploded outward.

For a moment—

Everything stilled.

Then—

Haruto laughed.

Wiping the blood from his lip, he smirked. "Damn. That actually hurt."

Akira exhaled. "Enough games. We're not here to fight you."

Haruto sighed, rolling his shoulders. "Yeah, yeah."

The storm dissipated.

Lightning faded.

The air was still again.

Haruto smirked. "You guys are fun."

Akira crossed his arms. "Does that mean you'll help us?"

Haruto flicked his tongue over his cut lip.

Then—

He grinned.

"I'm in."

Epilogue: The Rising Tempest

As the team walked away, the clouds began to clear.

Kenji stretched. "That went better than I expected."

Shoji smirked. "We didn't die. That's a win."

Daisuke grinned. "Told you I'd land a hit."

Haruto chuckled. "Don't get cocky."

Nao exhaled. "Now we just need one more."

Akira nodded.

They were almost ready.

The storm had begun—

And the real battle was approaching.
