Invincible in the Shadows

Jin flashed around the room, his figure smashing and shattering the statues. 

Boom!

Jin shattered the ground under him as he jumped through the face of a statue at full power. The statue's health was depleted by 50% instantly from the blow.

Jin grabbed the head of the statue and spun around to smash his fist into its face a second time.

Boom!

The statue exploded into pieces, giving Jin his points.

Boom!

The entire room trembled as Jin shattered another statue into pieces. Jin was covered in his blood and sweat as he was struck by another sound wave.

It has been hours since the fight started.

"ARGHHH!!" Jin screamed as he clutched his ears. His Viltrumite biology is not fairing well with sound waves right now. His balance and equilibrium are getting messed up.

At first, it did not bother him, but getting attacked thousands of times with a sound wave did it.

Jin looked at the angel statue and shattered it into a million pieces, his glowing fist smashed into its face.

[Ding!]

[MS levelled up!]

MS Lv.3 - 30% Increase in strength.

Jin suddenly felt the atmosphere of the room change as his skill levelled up. He froze as he felt a searing hit behind him, getting closer to hitting him.

Boom!

Jin turned around and put his battle gloves in front to block. Two flaming laser beams hit him on his forearms, sending him flying into a slam from a shield statue.

Boom!

A shockwave capable of levelling mountains erupted, and Jin let out a silent scream as his eyes flashed white. Blood and saliva flew out of his mouth.

Crack!

His forearm broke from the impact of the shield. His bone poked out of his skin, blood falling onto the floor.

The room was silent for a few seconds as Jin lay on his back. He was shaking as he looked up at the ceiling of the room. His eyes pulsed with fear.

"N-no... I won't. I CAN'T die here." Jin felt his human side start to pump adrenaline in his veins. Jin's body started getting excited and more energetic.

Jin staggered up from the cold and wet floor. His suit was stained with blood that was slowly being cleaned. His eyes flashed with a sharp and brutal light.

Boom!

Activating his skills, Jin started floating in the air as the statues generated from the walls inched upon him. Jin was surrounded in a circle, with angles in the back to catch him off guard.

"I am fired up now! Looks like my body started putting out adrenaline in huge amounts." Jin clenched his fist as he looked at the bone sticking out of his forearm.

It started mending and was back in place, with the skin covering it. The injury left a serrated scar on the forearm. 

Boom!

Jin vanished from the place and flew around the room like a beam. With his speed of Mach 850, he smashed through the heads of every state in a circle.

Boom!

"ARGGHHHH!!!" Jin screamed as he flew towards the sitting statue. It smirked maliciously, standing up. His palm was put out, and Jin activated his Mana Strengthening skill.

Boom!

The ground exploded, and a shockwave blew everything away as Jin's fest was stopped by the palm of the statue. Jin glared at the statue as he dodged an attack from its eyes.

Seeing his full-power punches had no effect, used his battle gloves to condense a strong shockwave around his fist. He was using his battle gloves like Whitebeard, except weaker.

Jin flew around the room at full speed in circles. His momentum continued to increase until the air was heated to such a degree that it was being ionized.

Jin felt his body burn as the temperature increased due to his speed. But he did not care about it at all. Jin's fist pulled back as he used the momentum to increase his speed, flying towards the statue.

"AGHHHH!!!"

Boom!

The statue's chest was blown away by Jin's punch. The entire room exploded as the statue shattered.

The air was split as Jin flew away from there. He left the city and flew into the far mountains in seconds.

On Mount Everest, Jin sighed as he sat on the snow and ice. The wind howled in his ear as he waited for his injuries to heal.

After a few minutes, his health regenerated, and Jin checked his status.

"I am strong, but I am still nowhere near my father," Jin muttered with dissatisfaction as he looked at his clenched fist.

His father is faster than light. Strong enough to destroy moons with a punch. Jin was nowhere near reaching those feats yet. 

Jin suddenly felt his senses pick up something. He looked around and saw Nolan flying towards him from the left. 

"Jin, Where were you? I couldn't contact you for hours." Nolan said with a frown as he looked at his son. His eyes flashed with a calculative light, waiting for Jin's response.

"Oh, I was just taking a break to think about my future. I have powers now, after all," Jin said with no hint of his true thoughts. He was technically thinking about the future, so he was not lying.

"Well, come on home. I got some pizza from Italy for us. It's still fresh and bubbling." Nolan smiled as he started floating. Jin nodded as he flew after Nolan.

The two flew home, and Jin sighed as he entered his home. The table was all set, with Debby and Mark waiting for them. Mark had a massive smile on his face.

"Jin! I awakened my powers!" Jin smiled as he looked at the excited Mark. He was happy for his little brother.

"I am happy for you, Mark. How about we eat, and then we could go on a test run tomorrow?" Jin asks before he suddenly remembers that not long following this, Nolan kills the Guardians of the Globe.

"Yes!" Mark replies with excitement. Debby smiled as she looked at her two sons. Nolan had a thoughtful look on his face.
