Comics multiverse: Reborn as a special mutant

Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Kitty Pryde, the Male Public Enemy

Yes, the people who captured him were Hydra.

When they took him in for research, his abilities accidentally awakened.

It was then that he met a woman—Viper.

The blonde, blue-eyed snake girl Ophelia from Logan 2.

Since this world was a fusion of the movie universe and mutants, Ophelia held a mid-to-senior researcher position at Hydra and had significant authority.

She was a master poison maker, a brilliant scientist, and a powerful mutant with the ability to shed her skin and become immune to toxins.

The moment they met, Viper was drawn to the hormones radiating from Norin.

On the day of his capture, Ophelia took Norin out under the guise of research, brought him to her bedroom, and did some unspeakable things.

That was when Norin fully understood his abilities.

He copied Ophelia's mutant powers, gaining a degree of supernatural strength. Ophelia, on the other hand, was more than satisfied, experiencing bliss every day. Later, she discovered her mutant abilities were evolving!

This thrilled Ophelia even more. What could be better than having fun while growing stronger?

Both of them were content, living a shameless, carefree life.

To avoid suspicion from other Hydra members and higher-ups, Ophelia kept Norin close, claiming she was studying his mutant abilities. She also ensured he received better treatment.

During that time, Norin's living conditions were far better than anything he'd experienced outside—or even in his previous life.

But two weeks ago, Ororo led the X-Men into the base.

After destroying the Hydra branch dedicated to X-gene research, Norin was rescued and brought back to Xavier Academy. After passing their tests, he enrolled in the high school division.

In truth, Norin could have left with Ophelia, but after careful consideration, he chose to stay and be rescued by Ororo.

The decision wasn't Ophelia's to make—it was Norin's.

His mutant ability not only improved and enhanced the powers of the opposite sex but also seemed to make them more attracted to him and obedient. This change happened on both a physical and mental level, creating a perfect transformation.

In short, after nearly two months together, Ophelia had completely become his, both in body and mind. She also became his spy within Hydra.

Through her, Norin gained access to information unavailable to the public, which would prove invaluable for his future plans.

Before anyone realized it, the bell rang, signaling the end of class.

"Alright, students, that's it for today. If you're interested, you can borrow The Eternal King from the library. It's a novel Professor Xavier highly recommends. It was written by British novelist Terence White. If you read it carefully, you'll find a lot of interesting knowledge in it."

"Class dismissed."

Ororo gave Norin a meaningful look before turning and leaving.

"Norin, are you okay? You seem a little off today. Did you stay up too late studying last night?"

After Ororo left, Norin's deskmate—a girl with long flaxen hair—approached him with a worried expression.

"Yeah, you're right. I did go to bed late last night."

Norin thought about it for a moment but couldn't come up with a better excuse, so he simply agreed with her.

Hearing this, the girl blushed. It wasn't clear whether it was because she guessed correctly or because Norin's charm was too overwhelming.

"You shouldn't push yourself so hard at night. Getting enough sleep is important for your health."

"Not all teachers are as easygoing as Ms. Ororo. If it were Mr. Scott, things would've been much more complicated."

The girl continued to fuss over him, handing Norin her neatly written class notes. "Here, I noticed you didn't finish your notes. You can copy mine. I've almost memorized everything anyway!"

Seeing the girl's shy gaze, Norin smiled slightly. "Thank you, Kate."

Even though he knew Kate wasn't being entirely truthful—her mutant ability wasn't related to memory or brain development, so memorizing the entire lecture in such a short time was impossible—he still appreciated her kindness. Norin wasn't completely clueless when it came to understanding others' intentions.

Yes, Norin's deskmate was Kitty Pryde, a member of the high school division and a mutant codenamed Shadowcat.

Her ability allowed her to phase her body or anything she touched through solid objects.

If developed further, it could even enable human consciousness to travel through time!

In Days of Future Past, she was the key figure who changed the fate of mutants in the old timeline.

Her potential was immense.

However, this girl, who played a pivotal role in the original story and was even more beautiful than her comic counterpart, was almost completely under the spell of Norin's MAX-level charm.

Without even realizing it, her actions and words were akin to fawning over him in the eyes of others.

Even a simple smile from Norin, filled with gratitude, was enough to make this typically confident European-American girl feel deeply satisfied.

And this was just one example of Norin's influence at Xavier's School.

Despite having only been there for two weeks, he had already become the most popular person in the school.

Almost every female student had a favorable impression of him.

Because of this, he also faced hostility from many of the boys.

He was cool and charming.

The other boys felt completely overshadowed.

If it weren't for the watchful eyes of Professor Xavier and the teachers, some of the boys might have already banded together to challenge Norin.

Norin believed that if any boys tried, they'd first have to get past the girls.

However, Norin didn't let this go to his head.

After all, relying on others was temporary. Only improving his own strength was truly reliable.

He needed to grow stronger.

That's why he had come to Xavier's School, a place filled with mutants.

Over the past two weeks, he had familiarized himself with the school and made a mental list.

Kate, Clarice, Ororo, Jean.

He needed their powers. The more abilities he had, the better. These powers would be his foundation for surviving and thriving in this world.

After all, he could improve defects, strengthen genes, and enhance abilities. With feedback, he could gather countless powerful mutant abilities into one body, becoming an unstoppable force—a true hexagonal warrior. (TN: Means all-round warrior.)
