Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 72

Chapter 72 Chapter 62 First punch him, and ask all the questions while you’re at it!

Hachiman Hikigaya leaned against the door, observing silently the three people before him.

Hayama Hayato, nothing much to say, still that nauseatingly genial facade, looking uneasy with an uncertain expression, likely pondering what to do once the culprit is found.

Yamato was a muscular guy with an honest face; the term ‘gorilla’ described him better than the talkative Kaburagi, his thick eyebrows gathered making him look even more like one.

Ooka, the shortest among them, had chestnut hair and was currently bouncing impatiently on his feet, appearing quite agitated.

As for Kaburagi…

“Hey, does it have to be that we send everyone else out? We are just here to provide information, right?” Kaburagi pulled up a chair, slightly displeased at the tone, “What’s this, like some kind of interrogation?”

The sound of chair legs scraping the floor echoed, and Yukinoshita Yukino immediately frowned, her sharp gaze as piercing as a sword aimed at Kaburagi’s chattering: “Please be quiet.”

It was like a cold breeze passing by, leaving a chill down one’s spine that made Kaburagi shiver involuntarily. He mumbled softly, “… Privately Mars.”

Just now, there seemed to be a hint of red in Yukino’s eyes… It must have been his imagination, right?

After scolding Kaburagi, Yukino took out Yui Yuigahama’s mobile phone, aiming its screen towards him, “I’ll get straight to the point. Was it you who sent this email?”

Kaburagi, who had only just quieted down for two seconds, shouted again: “How could it possibly be me!?”

“The person who sent this email is completely lying; I have friends in West High, so why would I pick a fight with them?”

“If you really find the creep who sent this email, let me know. I’ll make sure he gets a good beating!” he declared angrily.

“Is that so?” She felt his rage from the faint changes in his Curse Energy then tucked away the phone, “You can leave now. Call in the next person.”

“Huh?” The abrupt end of the conversation caused Kaburagi to look suspicious, almost incredulously, “That’s it? Just like that?”

“It’s over,” nodded Yukino.

“Wait, how can you figure out who the real criminal is like this?”

Kaburagi frowned, hoping for real results from the renowned Snow之下雪乃 but instead seeing jest.

“Leave now. Call in the next person.” Yukino repeated softly.

With a pause, her tone seemed to change, becoming unsettlingly oppressive: “Do not make me repeat myself a third time.”

A sense of danger flooded through, and Kaburagi obediently left the Service Club despite his reluctance.

“I’m done, who’s next?”

“What did Yukino ask you?”

As soon as Kaburagi exited, Yamato asked.

“Just asked if I sent an email; ridiculous!” grumbled Kaburagi uncomfortably, “Hurry up, or that woman will lose her mind.”

When Hachiman heard Kaburagi talking trash about Yukinoshita, he held his breath, watching intently, terrified something terrible could happen to him.

Lin Qi would definitely not take kindly to someone badmouthing a superior like this, especially Snow之下雪乃.

Thankfully, nothing happened, and they were spared thanks to Lin Qi’s mercy.

“Kaburagi, stop!” Seeing Kaburagi still babbling, Hayama unusually raised his voice and intervened sternly.

“Let me handle it.” Yamato entered the Service Club.

Without the usual commotion, Yamato sat down silently, admitting, “That’s me, Yamato.”

“Yes.” A softer expression crossed Yukino’s face, she presented Yuigahama’s phone to him, “Did you send this email?”

Yamato shook his head vigorously: “Absolutely not. I wouldn’t hurt anyone like that.”

“He knows me.”

“Though I am not very talkative, often I watch over conversations, still, he sees me as a friend. I wouldn’t act deceitful.”

His honest face conveyed sincerity.

Even his weak Curse Energy showed no changes, revealing he harbored no ill will for anyone tarnishing his reputation, a man of his word.

“I understand. You may go, let the last person in.” Yukino retrieved the phone.

Yamato, informed by Kaburagi about the process, walked away swiftly without any confusion.

“It’s your turn, Ooka.”

“How was it? Did she make things difficult for you?” Kaburagi asked.

Shaking his head, Yamato replied honestly, “She only asked me one question, just like you.”

“Tsk, and with this, who can find the culprit?” growled Ooka, entering the Service Club.

He sat down impatiently and without waiting for Yukino’s word, proclaimed: “It wasn’t me. Period.”

“Please read this before answering,” Yukino said as she showed Ooka Yuigahama’s phone just as before.

“Do we need to? Our class all received the same mail!” Ooka glanced at it then turned away, looking towards the classroom door.

Hachiman muttered, “But I didn’t receive anything!”

“Alright then.” With piercing eyes, Yukino stated sharply, “You’re the one who sent this email, Ooka.”

“What! Told you it wasn’t me already!” The chestnut-haired man turned abruptly, glaring indignantly.

An unconscious unease surfaced mixed with his fragile Curse Energy fluctuating wildly.

“No. You are.”

The girl seemed focused, locking an inexplicable pressure on Ooka. Lin Qi contributed a little by releasing his aura.

Fear and panic heightened, along with a subtle malevolence deep within.

“Absurd! I’m leaving!” Cold sweat dripping over, Ooka stood up but was grabbed by Yukino.

Despite her delicate hand, Ooka felt trapped, unable to break free nor escape the painful grip.

“Hey! You woman! Let me go!”

In his panic, he swung another hand towards Yukino, which she caught, causing him to spin dizzily and hit his back painfully on her next move.

The girl instinctively flung Ooka into the Service Club door, a loud thud echoing as he hit. His phone dropped from his pocket.

Yukino picked up Ooka’s phone and unlocked it with his fingerprint.

After examining the contents, she frowned lessened.

“Though aware to delete the sent mail, you neglected to empty the recovery bin,” she displayed the screen to him, “So your grades are quite poor, Ooka?”

The crash attracted several individuals from the corridor, including Hayama who opened the door wide, startling to see Ooka crumpled on the floor, asking, “What happened? Ooka!?”

“The culprit has been discovered.”

Yukino handed the phone to Hayama, with Kaburagi and Yamato gathering around.

They gave complex gazes toward the fallen Ooka.
