Chapter 33: Chapter 33: The Exposed Identity

"Spider-Woman, you can't beat him."

Peter's tone was icy as he spoke these words.

Gwen was furious. She had a strong personality, but at this moment, the Punisher was right.

She really wasn't a match for the Green Goblin. Although she had super strength, speed, and reflexes, without the web-shooters Peter had given her, she couldn't even swing through the air.

After all, she was just a high school student.

She had never learned combat skills, and when facing a slightly stronger opponent, she didn't even know where to start.

"If your opponent can stay in the air using a glider, then use your webs to grab something and hit his glider."

"Of course, dealing with him, I don't need to go through all that trouble."

"This has nothing to do with you."

"Stay back, and don't get in my way."

Peter's voice remained calm throughout, and with that calmness came indifference.

The Green Goblin was furious. He was so close to getting Spider-Woman's blood, and now this Punisher had to show up and ruin everything!!

Peter didn't waste any more words.

His body shot into the air with such speed that it left a Mach ring on the ground!

In the next second, the Green Goblin felt his body lurch. Before he could react, he was already thrown into the air.

Fast!

Too fast!

There was no way to counter it!

With no leverage in the air, the Green Goblin had no control over his movements.

The bat-like glider under his feet had already been torn in half by Peter!

Before the Green Goblin could even hit the ground, Peter appeared above him in an instant!

Without giving him a chance to react, Peter stomped down hard on him.

Boom!

The Green Goblin crashed to the ground!

Even with the protection of his armor, he suffered multiple fractures.

Thanks to the serum he had injected, his injuries would heal automatically in a few days.

But Peter wasn't planning to give him that chance.

Even with a body far surpassing that of an ordinary human, a bullet to the brain would probably still kill him.

Gwen, standing to the side, was completely stunned.

She stared blankly at everything that had just happened.

Was it... over?

Solved that quickly???

From the moment the Punisher appeared, only a minute or two had passed.

In that time, he had taken down both the Vulture and the Green Goblin—two terrifyingly powerful foes!

Without comparison, there was no sense of gap.

Gwen felt that, compared to the Punisher, she was like a newborn baby.

Peter then walked over to the Green Goblin, looking down at him, and pulled out a gun from behind.

He aimed it at the Green Goblin's head.

Even if he killed Osborn's evil persona, there was no guarantee it wouldn't resurface someday.

So...

The best solution was to put a bullet in him.

Gwen couldn't believe the Punisher was planning to kill the Green Goblin in front of everyone.

This clashed heavily with her own beliefs.

"No, you can't do this!"

Gwen stepped in front of the Green Goblin.

"What's wrong?"

Peter spoke indifferent.

"You can't kill him. He should be handed over to the law. Trust me, Punisher! The law will definitely punish him!!"

"If everyone acts outside the law, the world will fall apart!"

Influenced by her father, Gwen firmly believed that all criminals should be judged by the law.

Peter silently lit a cigarette.

Although it was troublesome, it didn't matter.

A month ago, Peter might have been wary of the Green Goblin.

But now, he was no longer a threat.

You can teach someone a lesson, but they won't learn until they experience it themselves.

If Gwen's attitude was going to change, she needed to experience regret firsthand.

Everyone, whether a hero or an ordinary person, has a line they can't cross.

But that line can change subtly over time.

No one stays the same forever.

So, this time, let it go.

"Then let the police deal with him!"

Peter flew into the sky, expressionless, looking down at everyone, including Gwen.

"If the law you believe in fails to deliver the punishment the criminal deserves, will you regret stopping me today?"

"If he hurts people again, can you take responsibility for that?"

Gwen wasn't sure. Facing someone with such a powerful presence and overwhelming strength, no one could stay calm!

But she firmly believed that the Green Goblin would get the punishment he deserved!

The court would definitely sentence him to death!!

Thinking this, Gwen couldn't help but sigh.

If only all men in the world were like Peter.

He was gentle, kind, never aggressive. He would definitely stand firmly by her side.

Boom!

The sound of a sonic boom echoed as the Punisher disappeared from sight.

Gwen immediately felt the pressure lift and let out a long sigh of relief.

It wasn't just Gwen. Almost everyone had the same reaction.

The Punisher's pressure was just too overwhelming!

After Peter left, everyone's attention turned to the Green Goblin.

Look at this street!

Look at the surrounding shops!!

The Green Goblin's dozen or so bombs had turned everything beautiful into dust!

George, who had just arrived at the scene, also breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, the Punisher hadn't killed the Green Goblin.

With such a major incident, he couldn't bring back two corpses to report.

George stepped forward.

He yanked off the Green Goblin's terrifying mask.

The reporters surrounding them immediately began snapping photos like crazy.

George froze.

The reporters taking photos froze.

Gwen froze!

No one had expected the face behind the mask to be him!!

The CEO of a publicly traded company, a renowned nanotechnology scientist.

Norman Osborn?
