Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Superheroes Have Moral Constraints, But I Do Whatever I Want!

"Stop!!"

The Vulture's eyes were filled with fear. For the first time, he felt the terror of death.

"It's too high, it's too high up here!!"

The air around him grew cold, and breathing became difficult!

The Vulture trembled uncontrollably from fear and the freezing temperature.

He had never imagined this day would come. Although he knew there were beings like Superman in the world, Superman only appeared a handful of times a year.

There was also Homelander, but Homelander only targeted ordinary people with low combat abilities.

So it had never crossed his mind that anyone other than these two could possibly deal with him!

He was the Vulture! He could fly!!

"Damn Kingpin, he clearly said the Punisher couldn't fly!!"

"How do you explain this now?!"

"Listen, Punisher, I have money, a lot of money. If you let me go, it's all yours!"

"Spare me, even if you send me to prison, it's fine!!"

"Listen, I want to go to prison, just let me go!!"

Suddenly, Peter stopped.

He had reached the limit of his flying altitude.

Even with the blessing of the Ox Talisman, he was still just an ordinary human.

Flying too high made him physically uncomfortable.

The Vulture thought Peter was going to spare him.

"Thank heavens, thank you! I promise I'll never mess with you again!"

"I'll never appear in front of you again!"

"Yeah, you won't get the chance."

After saying this, Peter's grip on the Vulture began to loosen, bit by bit.

The Vulture broke out in a cold sweat, his back drenched.

"No, no, no, no!!"

"Punisher, you can't do this! You're a superhero, you can't do this!!!"

Peter sneered:

"Didn't you bother to research my methods before coming after me?"

"Superheroes have moral constraints, but I don't play by those rules!"

With that, Peter completely let go!

The Vulture, weighed down by his heavy metal wings, plummeted like a meteor!!

"Ahhhhh!!!"

He screamed in mid-air. If he were given another chance, he would never mess with the Punisher!

He was too ruthless!

He didn't even seem like a hero fighting crime. Maybe he just chose this path to kill people!

With a loud crash, dust rose into the air.

The cement road on Violet Rose Street was smashed into a massive crater!

Pieces of the mechanical wings were scattered everywhere.

The Vulture lay on the ground, impaled by his own wings.

This was his proudest invention, and now it had become the cause of his death.

The street was in chaos!

Panicked pedestrians, armed police officers, and a dazed Gwen.

Boom!

Peter landed from the sky, looking at everything around with indifference.

"Spider-Woman, you're too weak!"

Peter said coldly:

"When facing an enemy stronger than you, the only thing you should do is run."

He wasn't trying to strike Gwen intentionally, but this situation had been far too dangerous.

If he hadn't arrived in time, Gwen would have been in serious danger.

Gwen didn't respond.

She wanted to refute, but she didn't know how.

Because the Punisher was right.

"Punisher, you shouldn't kill people. The law will punish these criminals, not take justice into your own hands."

Peter chuckled lightly:

"I only follow rules set by those stronger than me. Otherwise, my rules are the rules."

He glanced at the Vulture's corpse.

"He was guilty. If I say he's innocent, then he's innocent."

"If he's innocent, and I say he's guilty, then he's guilty."

"Spider-Woman, do you think fighting criminals on the streets and hanging them in front of the police station is justice?"

"You're still far from true justice."

It wasn't just because of the mission. Peter had wanted to talk to Gwen about this for a while.

Gwen, or most Spider-People in general, were always too kindness.

It's fine to be kindness to good people, but kindness to enemies?

In the comics, Spider-Man had sent his enemies to prison multiple times.

And what happened?

The enemies kept coming back, eventually forming teams just to take him down.

So what was the point of everything Spider-Man had done before?

Missing dates, letting his family live in poverty, being criticized by his newspaper boss—his life was so full of hardships, all for the sake of sending his enemies to prison, only for them to rest up and come back for round two?

How was that any different from that self-righteous guy in Gotham?

No, it was worse. At least Bruce Wayne had money.

So, killing enemies was the best way to uphold justice.

After listening to the Punisher's words, Gwen fell into a state of confusion.

Peter was about to leave.

Suddenly, his body moved at extreme speed, dodging a flying pumpkin bomb.

Spider-Sense was really useful!

At the same time, Gwen also sensed danger.

She looked up and saw a figure wearing a green demon mask hovering in the air on a glider!!

"Spider-Woman!!! You little bug, let me drain your blood!"

Behind her mask, Gwen frowned.

Damn it, why are there so many monsters?!

She shot a web toward the Green Goblin, but he easily dodged it.

The Green Goblin laughed maniacally.

"Even if I blow you to pieces, I can still get your blood!"

In an instant, a dozen pumpkin bombs rained down.

Gwen quickly shot webs to escape. Thankfully, her agility allowed her to dodge all the attacks.

Meanwhile, Peter saved several police officers.

By the time they realized what had happened, they were already miles away.

Earlier, Peter had given Osborn the choice.

If he didn't kill anyone within ten days, Peter would find a way to eliminate the Green Goblin inside him.

But now, it seemed the Green Goblin had taken root too deeply.

Not killing him was no longer an option.
