One Piece: A Love Strong since Childhhod

Chapter 1: A chance meeting

Hello everyone, my name is Katherine, or my friends call me Kat. My childhood sweetheart, Zoro, yes as in the Pirate Hunter turned pirate calls me his pretty kitty. I have to admit that all these years later, our friends can't stand it. I would like to take you back to how we met.

At the age of 5, I was heading home when I ran into a green-haired boy with blue eyes about the same age. I held out my hand to help him up. "I'm sorry for that. I wasn't looking where I was going." My face started to turn red just looking at him. What is this feeling that I'm feeling? He's actually kind of cute.

The boy smiled and took my hand. "It's alright. What's your name? I'm Rorono Zoro. But everyone calls me Zoro."

I turned my head away for a moment, unable to speak. "M..my name is Katherine but you can call me Kat. I have to go sorry." I ran the other way, not wanting him to know that I had gotten a crush on him.

Zoro ran after me. "Hey, Kat, wait!" Where is she going? She's cute, I wonder if I'll see her again. He thought.

I got home and ran past my parents into my room, closing the door. I took my pillow and started giggling into it. I had met the boy I would spend the rest of my life with. A few hours later my mother knocked on my door.

My mother had brown eyes and brown hair. She wore a green dress with flowers on it and her hair was up in a long braid. "Kat, is everything ok?"

I nodded. "Yes mother. I ran into this boy. His name is Zoro, he's super cute."

My mother laughed. "Has my daughter found her price charming at such an early age? I think this is just a child crush, honey. You'll get over it. Now help with lunch."

I looked away from her. It might be a crush now, but I know what I feel is real."

My mother brushed my hair out of my face. "I'm teasing you honey."

I giggle and stood on my bed. "One day, mother, we'll grow up strong and sail the world."

"Now, that would be something. Let's head into the kitchen to make lunch."

I nod. "Yes, mother." I followed her into the kitchen to help her with lunch. My father came home later to eat with us.

My father also had brown hair and blue eyes. He worked as the town's doctor. I sat down next to him. "Father, do you think that one day, you could take me to work with you. I want to learn how to be a doctor like you."

My father laughed. "Daughter, you are too young at the time to be a doctor. You have big dreams, Kat. I encourage you to have big dreams. You can do anything, set your ideas too."

I smiled. "Yes sir." I finished lunch and headed out to play with my friends.

My mother looked at my father. "Honestly, William, I can't stand it when you bring our daughter books on weapons."

"Come now, Sasha. You know as well as I do that she has a gift for weaponry."

A few days later, I made my way to the local school to learn about swords and how to use them. Once I got prepared to take my stance against another student, I heard a familiar shout. I looked up and saw that it was Zoro. Is he learning how to be a swordsman too? I turned away blushing.

My friend, Dave, poked me in the shoulder. "Hey, are you ok?"

I nod. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Dave grinned. "Are you blushing?"

"Stop it, Dave, you're so mean."
