No! I don't want to be a Super Necromancer!

Chapter 25: Zombies!

"ZOMBIES! ZOMBIES! SHOOT THEM! SHOOT THEIR HEADS!"

"SHOOT THEM BEFORE THEY EAT US AND TURN US INTO ZOMBIES!! AAA!!!

"OH MY GOD! SHOOTING THEIR HEADS IS USELESS! SHOOT THEIR LEGS!"

"THERE ARE ZOMBIES HERE! ALL UNITS TO THE NORTH GATE! KILL THEM NOW BEFORE THEY INCREASE IN NUMBER!!"

Slash. Slash. Slash.

Like a specter of death, Damien Bloodbane moved so fast and attacked so silently among the terrified Europeans staring at the fearsome but mostly harmless undead charging towards them that nobody noticed him for the first few minutes.

But in that time, he had killed over a hundred of them.

Finally after wiping out all of the European Soldiers rushing in from the East, a soldier from the South finally noticed him.

"ASSASSIN! TWO OCLOCK!" He shrieked and turned his blaster to shoot at Damien.

"FUCK YOU ARSEHOLE! KILL THE ZOMBIES FIRST! IF THEY BITE US WE WILL BECOME ZOMBIES TOO!" A Captain who watched too many zombie apocalypse movies screamed at his retarded underling and forced him to shoot at the zombies once more.

Without resistance, Damien Bloodbane was completely free to reap the lives of the distracted European Soldiers.

A hundred.

Then two hundred.

Like a Death God who didn't know the meaning of exhaustion, Damien Bloodbane moved at his incredible top speed for many long minutes, his twin daggers flashing silently amid sprays of blood and decapitated heads.

Within five short minutes, Damien Bloodbane actually succeeded in eliminating all of the European soldiers rushing in from the South of the Chinese Camp!

By that time, only one final group remained in the West.

Finally, a roar of anger sounded from there. He had finally attracted the attention of the European Mission Commander.

"FROZEN TORNADO!" An angry feminine voice shrieked from across the battlefield.

A freezing and powerful tornado swirled into life at Damien Bloodbane's position in but a single blink of an eye!

Crack!

The temperature plummeted into sub zero degrees in a shocking instant, and everything around him froze. Sleet appeared on the ground and turned it into a slippery death trap.

The Frozen Tornado itself spun at extremely high speed and sucked everything around Damien Bloodbane, shredding them into little pieces with the countless ice shards that were spinning within it!

Judging by the sheer power and impact the Frozen Tornado had on its surroundings, the European Mission Commander was a powerful Ice Mage that was definitely a B rank, possibly even an A rank.

Any sane warrior would definitely try to escape when faced with such a ridiculous powerhouse.

But Damien Bloodbane was not sane.

The insane Super Soldier training had purged all traces of sanity from him, and it was especially true when he was faced with impossible odds in battle.

Damien Bloodbane will never run from a fight!

He didn't run when he had to fight the incomparably powerful Royal Lightning Dragon.

He would not do so against a mere B rank Ice Mage.

Shua!

A swirl of Death Energy appeared around him and easily destroyed the piercing Ice Energy that tried to enter his body.

Crouching down to lower his center of gravity, he pushed against the ground with incredible strength and exploded away from the Frozen Tornado!

In an instant, he disappeared from the sight of the European Mission Commander, and she was forced to dispel the powerful but high consumption Frozen Tornado which had lost its target.

Damien Bloodbane knew through his vast experience that fighting against high powered mages directly was sheer folly.

Direct long distance combat was their strength, and they would do everything they could to get their enemies to engage in such combat.

But simple battle wisdom calls for the wise fighter to run when the enemy is strong, and strike when the enemy is weak.

The best way to win the fight against the powerful European Mission Commander Ice Mage was simply to reposition himself, get close to her, and strike an overwhelming blow.

But Damien Bloodbane was completely unfazed.

He was confident that he could take down the enemy commander.

Or alternatively, if you have a powerful dragon follower, that damned dragon could also burn her to death with dragon fire.

And anticlimactic as it was, that was exactly what happened at that moment.

"BOSS!! I AM HERE TO SAVE YOUUUUU!!! HUAAAAAAAAA!!!!" An earth shaking roar thundered from the sky at that moment and a pillar of blistering hot dragonfire smashed down on the European Mission Commander!

HUAAAAAAAA!!!

The pillar of dragon fire swept across the entire Western battlefield and easily turned every single European Soldier there into blackened crisp.

And just like that, with a single blast of dragon fire, the battle was over!

Dragons were mythical creatures sitting comfortably at the top of the foodchain with human beings, even armed with all of their technology, a very distant second.

One of the main reasons why they were the Apex predators was simply due to the very thing that had just destroyed the European Mission Commander and her remaining underlings.

Dragon fire.

It was the strongest form of direct combat in existence.

Long range or short range, armored or not, if you're in front of a dragon's maw, you are a split second away from being incinerated.

And to make things worse, the damned dragons could fire off a nearly endless amount of those dragon fires!

At that moment, seeing the incomparably glorious sight of an angry dragon killing all of his enemies, two strange emotions bubbled up from deep within Damien Bloodbane's heart and started to fight against each other.

"That damned dragon killed my prey! Kill him!" Shrieked a bloodthirsty Damien Bloodbane emotion.

"Shut up you god damned maniac! This is exactly what I've been praying for! For just one time, one god damned time. Give ME freaking overwhelming power! Let ME fucking outnumber the enemy! Huaaaa!! This feels good!" Howled an indignant Damien Bloodbane emotion sick and tired of fighting uphill battles so endlessly!

"Weak! You're weak!! Damien Bloodbane does not need help to kill his enemies! Don't you remember the millions we killed? Kill the dragon! Kill! Kill!" Roared the bloodthirsty Damien Bloodbane.

"No!! You're just a stupid bloodthirsty maniac born of slaughter. We should not listen to you!"

"You're just a weak-ass pent up unfulfilled, useless frustration born of despair. We are Damien Bloodbane the Lord of Death. We should definitely not listen to you!"

Damien Bloodbane allowed the two emotions to clash for abit and wash over him for a brief moment before reining them in once more.

They were both the products of the Super Soldier training - his way of coping with the supreme pressure, and were ultimately part of him now.

Suppressing them had no benefit for him.

Once in a while, it would probably be good to let them out for a few moments.

He had a feeling that he would be dealing with them quite frequently in the coming days.

Schooop!

A massive ten meter long red dragon swooped down from the sky and transformed into fatty.

However, in his excitement to boast to his boss and receive his praises, the dumbass fatty misjudged the distance to the ground, and transformed way too early.

He ended up shrieking loudly as he fell the remaining five meters to the ground!

Bang!

"OWWWWW!!!" Fatty howled in pain from the crater he had just made on the burnt ground.

"Boss! I did great, didn't I? Hahaha! You must be very impressed with my powerful dragon fire, right? Hahaha!" The fatty started to boast shamelessly as he pulled his fat body out of his self made crater.

"I know I am very powerful! I am so grea- Huh? Boss? Where are you?! BOSS!"
