love In Dark

The night has just set in. The rays of the sun are slowly vanishing. The light of the street lights is falling on the roads. The movement of vehicles is slowly reducing. All the birds have gone to their nests. The bustle of the day is now turning into peace. Damien was sitting near the swimming pool of his mansion and drinking. Tomorrow is Sunday, which means a holiday. But for him every day is the same. On Sundays people spend time with their family or spend the whole day with their loved one, but there is no one like that in his life.

While drinking it gets very late in the night. Damien loses track of time. The night was getting darker. Then he feels some movement in the backyard of his mansion. He gets up from his place and goes to the place from where the sound of movement was coming.

A man was dressed completely in black clothes, from top to bottom. It was dark at that place due to which it was difficult to recognize that person. By looking at that person, it was clear that he was a skilled person and that person has come here with the intention of killing someone. That person enters the mansion with great courage and goes towards the study room.

He was searching for something in the study room. He opens a drawer and finds something in it. After this he slowly goes into the master bedroom. Not a single light was on in the room, it was completely dark, then that person takes out a knife from his pocket, goes towards the bed and keeps his hand on the mouth of the person coming on the bed so that he cannot make any sound and then attacks him repeatedly with the knife.

But he feels something. He tries to get away from there quickly. But then someone comes from behind and hits him hard on the head. The man falls on the ground. Blood was continuously flowing from his head. His whole body starts shaking.

Damien : What did you think, you would come to my house and try to kill me and I wouldn't even know…??

That person looks up. He sees a man standing there with a hammer in his hand and a strange smile on his face.

Damien : Call your boss…

The man slowly gets up from there and attacks Damien's chest with the knife. That moment was so fast that Damien gets stabbed in the chest but Damien is not an ordinary person, he is a mafia, for him all these things are like a game.

Damien : You are a very skilled person. I am impressed. But the plan is good but you have chosen the wrong person.

Damien pushes that person back forcefully. He takes out his gun and shoots that person 6 times one by one. In the meantime, the phone of the person who had come to kill Damien starts ringing. Damien receives that call.

Damien : hello my dear friend. By the way your plan to kill me was good but what to do, I spoiled your plan again. You feel bad to hear that I'm still Alive. No problem, my mother used to tell me that if someone feels bad about something you say then you should give them a gift. Your gift will be sent to your home in just half an hour. I hope you like the gift.

After that Damien disconnects the call. His men come there.

One person: Boss, are you alright? Nothing happened to you . right ?

Damien : I am fine, I have just paid off this small wish.

While saying this, he points towards his chest where he had stabbed with the knife.

Damien: Take it, decorate him nicely as a gift and give it to his boss.

Everyone nods their head and follows Damien's orders. After getting treatment for his injury, he goes to his room and sleeps.

But after a while his eyes opened. His whole body was drenched with sweat. He looked very confused.

Damien: Why did I see that girl's face in my dream?

Damien was very confused. Every time he only sees that horrific incident of his childhood in his dreams. But today for the first time he did not have that dream. He saw the face of that girl in his dream whom he does not even know. He saw that girl for the first time today and that too in the rain. But thinking about that girl, he felt a different kind of peace.

The morning rays were spreading their light. Amelia's eyes open to the sound of birds chirping and the bustle of the morning.

Amelia: It's morning already.

Amelia takes her mobile in her hand. A message comes on her phone. That message had come from none other than the same company where she had gone for an interview but could not reach on time. She opens that message. She could not trust her eyes after seeing the message. She reads the message again carefully. Amelia started jumping on her bed. Hearing her voice, her mom and dad came there.

Amelia's Mother: Why are you jumping on the bed like that?

Amelia's dad : yess princess. What happened?

Amelia: Mom Dad, do you remember about my interview? Today I got a message from that company. It says that all those who could not give the interview that day can give it today. Because out of all the people who took the last interview, none of them could pass. I still have a Chance.

Amelia's mom and dad become very happy after hearing this. Seeing their daughter so happy, they feel even happier.

Amelia's dad : We are very happy to hear this princess. This time I will drop you so that you don't get late. You get ready.

Amelia's Mother: Get ready, I will make a nice breakfast for you.

Amelia completes her shower and gets ready quickly. Today she does not want to be late at any cost. Amelia arrives on time. All the people who had come for the interview were seated in a large room. Then an employee comes there and announces.

Employees: Before your interview starts it is important to know some things. From today's interview 5 people will be selected as new administration employees and 1 as personal assistant. The 5 people who will be administration employees will be selected in a team. And the personal assistants will be our boss's personal assistants. I hope you all have understood.

All the people sitting there nod their heads in agreement.

Employees: Okay, so the interview is about to start. Everyone will come to the meeting room one by one.

The interview begins and one by one all the people go for the interview. Amelia's number is about to come. As her turn was approaching, her nervousness was increasing.

Amelia's turn comes, she moves forward with her shivering feet. She enters the meeting room, that room was very big. That room was in a circle shape. There was a round table in the middle with a chair next to it. The boss's chair was in the middle but that chair was turned. The boss's face was not visible.

Amelia sits on her chair and the interview begins. Amelia is a very smart girl, so the questions being asked did not bother her much. As the questions progressed, Amelia started feeling more confident.

The interview ends and Amelia leaves the room. Conversation begins in the interview room.

One person : This girl is very smart, Boss. She is confident, smart and clever.

Everyone was waiting because the interview result had still not come. Everyone was very nervous. The result is declared after some time. And the result was that a girl named Cheery is selected as the boss's personal assistant and along with Amelia, the other 4 people out of which 1 was a girl and the remaining 3 were boys.

There was a different kind of happiness on the faces of all the 6 people who were selected. Disappointment was clearly visible on the faces of the rest who were not selected.

Amelia could not believe her ears that she had been selected. Amelia was very happy. Then an employee told them that they would get the call letter in 2 days and then they could start the job.

Amelia returns home happily and just by looking at the smile on her face anyone can tell that she has passed the interview.

Amelia's Mother: Hey Amy you're home. So happy you passed your interview.

Amelia: Mom how did you know that I passed the interview.

Amelia's mother: Anybody can tell by looking at your face.

Amelia: It's true, mom, I am very happy today.

Amelia's mother: I am also very happy to see you Happy.

Aryan : Sister, you look very happy today.

Aryan came back from school.

Amelia's Mother: Because your sister's job has been finalized.

Aryan : Are you telling the truth, Mom? I am very happy for you.

Aryan hugs his sister.

Aryan : We should celebrate today, don't we? Remember, you promised to take me to the mall. So today you will have to take me to the mall and get me what I want.

Amelia: ohh , My job has just been confirmed. I have not started working yet nor have I received my salary.

Aryan : Whatever it is, you will have to fulfil my wish.

Amelia: Okay okay fine I will take you to the mall and get you whatever you need, okay.

Amelia: yess , Promise. But first freshen up, then we will have lunch and then leave.

After having lunch Amelia takes her brother to the mall. After going there they go to the first game center. There both of them play many games and enjoy. After that they go to some clothes shops in the mall.

Amelia and Aryan were returning from the mall after buying some clothes and makeup items for her self and games and shoes for Aryan .Then a cute puppy comes near Amelia's feet.

Amelia: Hey Sky, baby. You're here.

Aryan : sister , You know this puppy.

Amelia: Yes, remember the other day I told you about the puppy whose life I saved? This is him.

Aryan : yess , I remembered. This puppy is so cute .

Amelia: Sky how come you are here? Your owner left you like this again. Your owner is really very careless. Where is he now ?

Damien: I'm here.

Damien was very surprised to see Amelia. This was the same girl who was getting drenched in the rain that day. From that day till today, the face he was seeing in his dreams is standing in front of him right now.

Amelia: I told your bodyguard that day and today I am telling you too that if you love Sky then take good care of him . If you cannot take care of him then I will.

Just then Amelia's phone rings and she picks it up. That phone call was from Amelia's Mother.

Amelia's Mother: honey , Where are you ? It's too late and your dad has also returned from work and is missing his beloved daughter.

Amelia: I am coming mom. Don't worry.

Amelia says looking at Sky.

Amelia: I have to go. You take care of yourself. I have no faith in your owner to take care of you.

After that, Amelia gives a stern look as she hands Sky over to Damien. Amelia leaves from there. Damien watches her go. She looked so different that day when she was getting drenched in the rain and how different she looks today.

Sky's Bodyguard: Boss, who was that girl and she was scolding you so much, why didn't you do anything.

That is true. Why did Damien not say anything to her? That girl had spoken so badly about him before leaving. Till date no one had the courage to say anything against his wishes. But this Amelia said so many bad things about him. Damien puts his hand on his chest. He felt that his heart was beating very fast.

Damien: Who was this girl? And why does my heart beat faster every time I see her? What is this ?
