Kushina Uzumaki The Sage Of The Yuri Path

Chapter 51: The Death OF Shisui Uchiha

Shisui Uchiha stood atop a lone cliffside, gazing down at Konoha, the village he swore to protect. The wind rustled through his dark hair, carrying with it the weight of impending tragedy. His Mangekyō Sharingan spun slowly, the burden of his decision pressing against his soul.

Behind him, Itachi Uchiha approached, his face unreadable. "Are you sure about this, Shisui?"

Shisui exhaled, his voice quiet but firm. "It's the only way, Itachi. If I use Kotoamatsukami on the elders, I can make them abandon the coup peacefully. No one has to die."

Itachi's expression darkened. "Danzo won't allow it. He already sees our clan as a threat."

Shisui forced a grin, though it didn't reach his eyes. "Then we'll just have to be faster than him."

High above, hidden in the branches of a towering oak, Raven Kamizuki crouched, her violet Rinnegan gleaming as she observed them.

On her shoulder, Yuumi flicked her tail, her whiskers twitching in amusement. "This kid's going to get himself killed."

Raven's eyes didn't waver. I know. But I want to see how far he gets.

Hours later, as dusk settled over the village, Shisui approached the Uchiha Clan, determined to put his plan into motion.

But he never made it inside.

From the shadows, they emerged.

A dozen Root operatives materialized in perfect formation, their masks glinting under the moonlight.

At the center of them all, Danzo Shimura stood, leaning on his cane, his single visible eye burning with ruthless intent.

"Shisui Uchiha," Danzo said, his voice deceptively calm. "Hand over your eyes."

Shisui's Sharingan flared. In an instant, he vanished, his Body Flicker Technique sending him soaring through the trees.

But Danzo was prepared.

Sealing tags exploded in midair, creating barriers that trapped him within their deadly radius. Explosions rocked the ground, forcing Shisui to land, panting, surrounded.

"Damn it…" he muttered, gripping a kunai.

The Root agents moved as one, their silent precision unnerving.

Danzo stepped forward, unhurried. "You think you can outrun me, boy?"

Before Shisui could react, his body locked up—completely paralyzed.

Danzo lifted his right arm, the bandages loosening.

And for the first time, Shisui saw them.

Dozens of Sharingan eyes, embedded in his arm, each one flickering to life.

Shisui's stomach turned. "You… you used Izanagi."

Danzo's grip tightened on his kunai. "And I'll use it as many times as necessary."

Before Shisui could escape, Danzo lunged forward, slashing deep across his left eye.

Pain exploded through Shisui's skull as blood spilled onto the cold earth.

"AAAHHHH—!!"

He staggered, clutching his bleeding socket, gasping for breath.

Danzo wiped his kunai clean, his voice eerily composed. "Your idealism has cost you everything."

From the treetops, Raven's fists clenched.

Yuumi's ears flattened. "You're seriously not gonna step in?"

Raven's expression was unreadable. No. Shisui's death is necessary for the timeline. But Danzo… she narrowed her eyes. Danzo will pay when the time is right.

Below, Shisui staggered, his body barely holding itself together.

Through sheer force of will, he stumbled toward the Naka River, blood dripping in his wake.

Itachi found him minutes later, his Sharingan spinning in desperation.

"Shisui!"

Shisui collapsed to his knees, his remaining eye blazing with determination.

"Itachi… you have to protect the village," he rasped. "Take my other eye."

Itachi recoiled. "What? No! We can still—"

"There's no time," Shisui whispered. "Danzo already took my left eye. I won't let him take this one too."

He reached up, fingers trembling, and plucked out his own eye.

Itachi's hands shook as he took it.

Tears burned in his eyes. "Shisui, you don't have to do this—"

Shisui smiled weakly.

"Protect the village," he murmured. "And… protect Sasuke."

Then, before Itachi could stop him, Shisui turned and let himself fall into the Naka River.

His body disappeared beneath the rushing waters.

Itachi screamed.

From the shadows, Raven exhaled. And so, the fall of the Uchiha begins.

Yuumi flicked her tail. "So, what's the next move, boss?"

Raven's Rinnegan flickered as she turned away.

"Now? We wait for the massacre."

"But when it happens, I'll be there to pick up the pieces."
