What if Naruto was Trained by Sosuke Aizen

Chapter 14: Chapter 14

"I'm not interested in your power at all." Naruto's gentle smile faded, replaced by a look of disdain.

"Not interested? Do you even know what you're talking about?" Kyuubi's initial disbelief quickly turned to anger. He gripped the iron bars of his cage, his voice a thunderous roar. "I am the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, the being capable of overthrowing the entire ninja world! Even if all of Konoha united against me, they wouldn't stand a chance. I could reduce this village to ashes in an instant. Kage-level powerhouses? They're nothing before me! I am the power every ninja village craves—and fears! Do you think Konoha's peace is a coincidence? It's because of me! Other villages dare not act recklessly!"

"And now you have the audacity to say you're not interested in my power?"

As Kyuubi ranted, a memory flashed in his mind—a finger pointing at him, accompanied by chilling words: "Kyuubi, you are too powerful. That's why you must be sealed."

Kyuubi's bravado faltered. He shrank back slightly, his tone softening. "Ahem, well, there are a few freaks in the ninja world who are strong, but they're all dead now."

"Still just a beast," Naruto chuckled, his voice dripping with disdain. "Let's be honest. A weak infant like me can become a container to seal your power. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your strength."

"Maybe you're strong enough to make Konoha's villagers tremble and its leaders desperate to control you. But to them, you're nothing more than a weapon. They've sealed you once; they can do it again. You're no longer a threat to them."

"Even if I accepted your power and went on a rampage in Konoha, what would it achieve? I'd satisfy some primal rage, but in the end, I'd be labeled a rogue container, unworthy of inheriting the Will of Fire. My fate would be sealed—literally. And you? You'd just be locked away in a new container, tamed and stripped of your wildness, reduced to Konoha's obedient lapdog."

Naruto's sneer deepened. "Trying to trick me into causing chaos in Konoha? Only a fool or a schemer would suggest such a thing."

In this brief exchange, Naruto had pieced together the truth. Most of what Kyuubi said was likely accurate. He was indeed Konoha's prized weapon, a container for the Nine-Tails. This explained why the Third Hokage was so intent on brainwashing him with the Will of Fire. Neither Kyuubi nor Konoha could be trusted. The only one he could rely on was himself.

After Naruto finished speaking, the sealed space fell into a heavy silence. Only the faint sound of Kyuubi's breathing echoed in the darkness.

At first, Kyuubi was furious. But soon, his anger gave way to contemplation. Naruto's words struck a chord. The boy was right. Kyuubi's intentions were far from pure, but he hadn't truly expected Naruto to destroy Konoha. While his power was immense, he was still just one entity. Konoha had its own hidden strengths. Even if its top-tier fighters had dwindled, the village was not to be underestimated.

What truly unnerved Kyuubi was Naruto himself. A five-year-old with such clarity of thought, such maturity—it was terrifying. He saw through Konoha's schemes and Kyuubi's manipulations with ease. And that mysterious bloodline limit, the one even Kyuubi feared—what kind of monster had Konoha unwittingly created?

Kyuubi couldn't help but laugh—a deep, guttural laugh that echoed through the sealed space. This was the first time in years he had laughed so freely, so genuinely.

"Hahahahaha! Interesting, so interesting! Konoha has no idea what they've unleashed in you, do they? A child like you—so terrifying! I see now, I understand!"

It was clear now. Naruto's gentle demeanor was nothing but a facade. Beneath it lay a deep-seated resentment toward Konoha. Kyuubi decided to change his approach.

He stopped laughing, his expression turning serious. "Listen, kid. You're fascinating, but have you considered this? If Konoha is so desperate to control my power, it's because my power is truly formidable. If you want to carve your own path, your bloodline limit alone won't be enough."

"What are you getting at?" Naruto tilted his head, his tone indifferent.

"All the chakra you've been using for your ninjutsu? It's mine. A fraction of what I possess. Compared to my full power, it's a drop in the ocean. I can lend you my strength, help you grow stronger. We're in this together."

Kyuubi forced a smile, though it came out more like a grimace. He was confident Naruto couldn't refuse such an offer. After all, who could turn down the power of the Nine-Tails?

"Sorry, but I'm not interested," Naruto replied without hesitation. "You're just a prisoner. The weak have no right to dream of the heavens. I'm destined to reach the top, and your power isn't enough to help me get there. I have no interest in partnering with a loser."

Naruto turned away, ignoring Kyuubi's enraged roars, and walked calmly toward the exit of the sealed space.

No matter how sweetly Kyuubi spoke, Naruto wouldn't fully trust him. The failed ninjutsu attempts earlier had confirmed his suspicions. The violent, fiery chakra he'd felt during those attempts—it was Kyuubi's doing. The beast had been interfering with his chakra control, sabotaging his progress.

This Nine-Tails was cunning, but Naruto saw through its facade. It was a violent, impulsive creature, not a reliable ally. Aligning with it would only lead to trouble.

As Naruto's consciousness faded from the sealed space, Kyuubi's furious roars followed him. "Naruto Uzumaki! You'll regret this! Mark my words, you'll regret it!"

But Naruto was already gone, slipping back into the realm of sleep. In the sealed space, Kyuubi seethed, his pride wounded. Naruto had stripped away his illusions, exposing the harsh truth: he was nothing more than a prisoner.
