Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 67

Chapter 67: Irreversible Choice

Contrary to the speeding ride there, the car was riding smoothly on the road, maintaining throughout an atmosphere of silence.

Yukinoshita Yono, in the presence of Lin Qi, was hesitant to speak.

Yukinoshita Yukino was silently contemplating how she would explain everything that had happened to her sister since the beginning.

Not long afterward, the two returned to the apartment building where Yuno lived.

“Let’s go eat first, my sister is hungry,” Lin Qi suddenly said, after pausing he added, “Find a place that satisfies her, and since she eats a lot due to her good health.”

Yukinoshita Yukino’s face flushed slightly, she said with a blush and some resentment, “There’s no need to specially explain!”

Seeing her reaction, Yuno understood that what Lin Qi spoke of was all true, and unable to suppress a laugh, she smiled.

“Let’s head to the nearby family restaurant then,” Yuno said to her sister, but her gaze met Lin Qi’s directly.

Having dealt with various people representing the family over time, Yukinoshita Yuno gradually became adept at discerning people’s inner thoughts through their expressions, but without a face, much couldn’t be told just from a pair of eyes.

However, she also understood that this mysterious presence appearing on her sister was conveying goodwill.

Though her worldview remained fragmented, she could at least relax somewhat now.

The two arrived at a nearby family restaurant, and under Yuno’s watch, the cheeks of her younger sister turned slightly red as she ordered two large portions of main dishes.

“This is because, due to the influence of the Parasitic Bug on my body, I’ve become different from ordinary people; hence, my body requires more energy, which is normal!”

“Ah? Isn’t that because there are two people inside your body, so you eat two portions?” Yukinoshita Yuno tilted her head cutely and crossed her arms, resting her chin on them.

“It’s not…” Realizing she was being too forceful, her face turned redder, and after calming herself, she explained quietly, “Parasitic Bug and Lin Qi mentioned that my soul and his share the same body.”

“Ah, so souls do exist… The world is indeed amazing,” Yuno curiously glanced with curiosity before asking, “So, his name is Lin Qi? Little Yukino trusts him a great deal.”

“Trust might be overstating it.” Yukinoshita Yukino appeared serious, “It’s only due to necessity.”

Ah, here it comes, Little Yukino’s stubborn retort.

A corner of Yukinoshita Yuno’s mouth curved, choosing not to poke further at her sister’s defense, and switched the topic, “So, was it you who collapsed that office building in the Chiba slum?”

“Parasitic Bug did it,” Yukinoshita Yukino answered right away.

“How was it done?” asked Yuno out of curiosity.

“It was his technique.” After personally witnessing his slash technique, Yukinoshita Yukino truly understood how extravagant Lin Qi’s technique was.

Without complex concepts, it was directly powerful, akin to a typical forceful strike, embodying a sort of numeric elegance.

Before long after placing their orders, the food was served.

“I’ll explain later.”

After experiencing a fierce battle today, Yukinoshita Yukino was indeed quite hungry and was only reminded by Lin Qi when she began to feel the hunger pangs while thinking about matters.

Well-educated girls ate with poise even if very hungry; however, the food on their plates quickly decreased.

As she observed the slightly oily cherry lips of Yukinoshita Yukino, glowing like jelly, a sudden thought popped up in the mind of the curious Yuno.

She grabbed a piece of fried chicken and extended it towards her younger sister’s face.

Thinking that her sister was playing some embarrassing feeding game as usual, Yukinoshita Yukino paused when she realized the target was her cheek rather than her mouth.

The chicken chunk was eaten in one bite by the cheek.

“Indeed, she can still eat.”

Yukinoshita Yuno’s eyes widened in astonishment then she started having fun, feeding Lin Qi continuously. Most of the food she put on the table ended up in Yukinoshita Yukino’s belly instead of hers.

They were seated in a relatively secluded spot of the family restaurant, where the customer count was low at that time. An external observer might think that the sister was just feeding her sister, and wouldn’t notice Lin Qi’s involvement.

“Sister! Stop playing!”

Unable to endure any longer, Yukinoshita Yukino frowned and leaned back to avoid further feeding for the parasite bug. Because of Yuno’s feeding, she got full quite fast, leaving much of their meal unfinished.

She pushed the remaining food towards her sister, “You can have it.”

“Little Yukino can’t finish it?” Given Yukinoshita Yukino’s well-behaved nature, it was unlikely she would waste food. Yuno soon reached the conclusion that “What Lin Qi eats actually ends up in Little Yukino’s stomach?”

Your sister is really smart.

Appreciating the compliment, Lin Qi felt that Yukinoshita Yuno could truly be considered beautiful and kindhearted. He enjoyed himself tonight.

Is this the soft serving?

“Hmph.” Ignoring Lin Qi’s internal comment, Yukinoshita Yukino gave her sister a helpless stare, picked up the orange juice beside her and started drinking silently.

Yuno didn’t mind and cheerfully finished her unending food.

After satisfying their hunger and thirst, the two returned to Yukinoshita Yuno’s apartment.

Yukinoshita Yukino recounted everything that happened from the day Lin Qi suddenly woke up inside her till now to Yukinoshita Yuno.

Curses, Cursed Spirits, and Sorcerers…

In the process, her shattered worldview began to be reshaped again.

“Cursed Spirits… Little Yukino has to fight such monsters.”

Hearing her sister describe her battle scenario, Yukinoshita Yuno felt her heart tighten at the notion, let alone facing the battle itself, Yukinon.

“Don’t worry, I’m strong enough now,” Yukinoshita Yukino smiled.

After all, she had defeated a Level 1 Cursed Spirit today and was fully capable as a Sorcerer.

All of this naturally relied on Lin Qi’s guidance.

Under the hallway lights, a moment of absent-mindedness struck Yukinoshita Yukino. Suddenly, she remembered that day when she first encountered Lin Qi and the mundane path he outlined for an ordinary life.

If she had chosen that path, how would her life have been?

Perhaps she would still be quietly reading in the Service Club.

Life is a one-way trip to the grave; she was glad not to regret the choice made back then.

Yukinoshita Yukino thought…

After school, then become a Sorcerer:
