Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 63

Chapter 55 – Is My Younger Sister Kidnapped?

Rewinding time back forty minutes.

After finishing her morning university classes with no afternoon classes, Yukinoshita Yono declined her friends’ invitation to go out and returned to her own apartment.

She had more important matters to attend to at present.

Before parting from her younger sister in the morning, she secretly placed a button-sized tracker with a positioning function inside the collar of Yukinoshita Yukino’s school uniform during their embrace.

Even though it was an incredibly despicable act, all of this was driven by her unease, spurred on by the numerous strange occurrences with her younger sister. She was compelled to use such measures to keep her sister under surreptitious surveillance.

Living, they strive to obtain peace.

Renown, dominating others, earning money—all these were for the sake of obtaining peace.

Yukinoshita Yono too, craved peace.

Thus, while she scorned herself, she committed this injustice. Thankfully, the outcome was evident.

IV It seemed Shizuka was truly sick.

In the morning, as she sat in the car, and before the vehicle had even traveled a few hundred meters, Yono heard her younger sister’s muffled self-talk over the earpiece.

She was certain there was no one else around Yukinoshita Yukino at that moment, and given her closeness with her sister, she wouldn’t casually talk about her friends with her. Therefore, Yukinoshita Yukino must have been talking to herself, as if conversing with the voice in her head.

Psychiatric disorder? Dissociative identity?

In any case, something was seriously wrong with her younger sister.

Nonetheless, Yuno did not hastily conclude. She decided to observe further.

Fortunately, her sister’s conversations in school were normal, and she exhibited none of the peculiar self-talk behaviors displayed in the neighborhood, which gave Yuno room for reevaluation.

At the end of club activities at Sōbu High, Yukinoshita Yuno opened her phone’s tracking app to check if her sister returned home successfully.

Then, she saw the red dot indicating Yukinoshita Yukino’s position rapidly moving across.

This speed was not humanly possible, nor could it be that of a car; what kind of vehicle could cross straight through buildings?

Is the tracker broken?

Would the sophisticated equipment she worked so hard to procure just stop working?

Yukinoshita Yono stared with wide eyes as the red dot moved from Chiba to Tokyo and abruptly halted.

From the map, it indicated Asakusa, a remote area—perhaps an abandoned orphanage?

She couldn’t help but furrow her brows. She refreshed several times, but the application continued to display the same result; with that distinct red dot prominently shown on her screen.

When she refreshed again, the dot vanished.

The girl blinked her eyes.

Tracker out of power?

Impossible, its charge would last three days.

Damaged or destroyed?

Regardless, Yukinoshita Yono decided to call her younger sister to get the specifics.

“Brrring… brrring…”

Dialing tone rang endlessly in the empty city, seeming to lose its way through the high-rise buildings. Eventually, an emotionless voice told her, “The number you dialed is out of service.”

Her delicate hand, holding the mobile device, trembled lightly. If only the tracker malfunctioned, then Yukinoshita Yukino’s mobile should not be unreachable.

Kidnapping?

Looking at the red dot’s erratic course, maybe it was helicopter movement?

For a moment, the beautiful face of Yukinoshita Yuno showed confusion, as if just last week, Yukinoshita Yukino was caught in such a situation now being hers?

Unconsciously, she visualized her younger sister being kidnapped and felt immediate panic, swiftly snapping out of it. Grabbing car keys, she switched to sneakers, rushing downstairs.

She remembered the location where the signal vanished. Instantly, she navigated through her phone’s mapping application and sped toward it, even running red lights along the way.

Swiftly reaching the place, she parked the car by the roadside but did not hastily step out, instead silently observing the surroundings from within.

The street was eerily quiet, occasionally passing cars or pedestrians. The largest structure nearby was an old orphanage just ahead.

Upon researching online, Yukinoshita Yono found the orphanage had been abandoned for nearly twenty years. Curiously, despite the precious space in Tokyo, it remained standing and gradually fell into ruin over the changing seasons.

Though unclear why it still existed, the location was perfect for illegal activities.

IV Was it possible that Shizuka was taken to the orphanage? With signal jammers?

Thinking this over, Yukinoshita Yono exited the car, approaching the corroded iron gates and peering inside.

Thoroughly examining, there was nothing amiss, no signs of vehicles or helicopters, not even footprints disturbing the dust on the ground.

Should she go in?

Irrational thoughts filled her mind; her anxiety increased, until she forced herself to remain calm. She composed a distress text on the emergency line, storing the phone in her pocket ready to send it instantly.

V Let’s confirm inside.

At this moment, she yearned for seeing her younger sister’s face more than anything. If truly abducted, Shizuka would be terrified now. Despite her outward appearance of strength, she was inherently timid, yet having company would somewhat reassure her, even at her own peril.

The chances of the captors harming their hostage seemed low—abducting the daughter of the Yukinoshita family must be with a motive of profit or achievement. Consequently, taking a hostage was necessary.

Considering the family’s history without significant enemies, no animosity towards them would necessitate bringing the hostage here.

Some security measures must be in place.

Entering, she merely needs to confirm the situation—it shouldn’t necessarily lead to discovery.

Taking a deep breath, Yukinoshita Yuno prepared to take a step forward.

Curtains removed.

Her familiar younger sister’s face appeared before her—but not fully recognizable.

Mysterious black markings adorned her face. Her overall demeanor became foreign, most importantly, beneath the changed iris, were smaller eyes.

In her hand, she held Hachiman Hikigaya.

After school, then becoming a Jujutsu Sorcerer:
