Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 52

Chapter 52 Chapter 47 Let’s go, take off!

“Little Snow! You’re finally back!”

Yuigahama Yui, as she had done in the days prior, went to Teacher Hiratsuka’s office to get the club keys, only to be told that Yukinoshima Yukino had already taken them away. She then bolted out of the office like a golden retriever that had just caught the scent of its long-lost owner and ran towards the Service Club.

The pink-haired girl yanked open the door to the Service Club’s classroom. Upon seeing her friend sitting by the window, she rushed over with excitement.

“I haven’t seen you in ages!” Yuigahama pulled over a chair and sat beside Yukinoshima Yukino’s seat.

Having taken Friday off, along with Saturday and Sunday, she had been coming to the Service Club for lunch with Yukinoshima on weekdays and only missed the afterschool activities on Thursday. Due to being occupied with various tasks, the broken windows in the Service Club hadn’t been replaced yet and the weather was getting hotter by the day—they were about to get air conditioning, but before that, she had hoped the Parasitic Bug would bring the new windows from the rooftop.

“But it really feels like I haven’t seen you in forever. It’s like time drags on when you’re waiting for someone, huh?”

Yuigahama smiled and began chatting animatedly about interesting things, while Yukinoshima listened quietly, occasionally chiming in with agreement.

The afternoon sun shone through the windows, casting light into dust-filled rays. The clock ticked softly.

As usual.

Soon after, voices and footsteps drew closer down the hallway. Hachiman Hikigaya entered the room accompanied by Ayaka Hozuki.

Seeing Yukinoshima made him shudder subconsciously.

Come to think of it, Yukinoshima mentioned previously that Lin Qi would observe him today to see his awakened techniques. Hopefully, this isn’t another combat training…

“Hey, Hachiman! And little Ayaka! Hey there!” Yuigahama stood up, exclaiming in surprise.

“Hey there, Yuigahama-san, Yukinoshima-san,” Ayaka waved, sticking her head around Hachiman’s shoulder.

Yuigahama hurried up, pushing Hachiman aside to make space and pulling Ayaka inside.

“Why are you here, Ayaka?”

“Well, I came to thank everyone in the Service Club,” Ayaka replied, blushing faintly as she sat down, invited in by Yuigahama’s enthusiasm.

“I guess my practice has inspired some progress. The tennis club members have been more dedicated too,” Ayaka said with a smile, rubbing her cheek.

That explains it… Yukinoshima realized, pondering, Lin Qi surely wouldn’t affect the tennis club unless he found something, or someone.

Assuming she was right, it was probably the five Grade 4 Cursed Spirits chasing the fish-eyed boy. Once they were dealt with, things would likely settle down again.

Good.

In a blink, Yukinoshima responded with a gentle smile, “No, we merely provided guidance. Your effort is most important, Ayaka.”

“Oh,” Ayaka blushed at the direct praise.

Her smile was infectious; standing behind Hachiman, she seemed to bloom within an idealized scene, making Hachiman’s face glow like a divine figure.

Upon noticing Ayaka’s shy look at him, Hachiman came to his senses, remembering the prolonged gaze he’d been giving her.

Of course, Yukinoshima and Yuigahama gave him scornful looks, as if seeing something vile.

“Ahem… So Ayaka’s request seems fulfilled,” Hachiman coughed, attempting to cover his embarrassment.

“Indeed, Hachiman managed to save the tennis court from Yakama, so he deserves acknowledgment,” Yukinoshima suddenly chuckled mischievously.

Hachiman paled immediately.

He understood the look in Yukinoshima’s eyes. She was preparing to enjoy his misfortune.

Award? Could it be the “loving punch” from Master Lin Qi?

Regardless, he thought optimistically, it can’t be serious—likely just testing the effectiveness of my techniques. If it was just testing, even no combat might be fine.

At that moment, the memory of Lin Qi severing his hand to make him understand and control cursed power flashed through his mind…

This person wouldn’t be joking. He knew for sure!

Hachiman wished the stairway to heaven were longer, his ascent slower, to postpone meeting Lin Qi.

Just as he hesitated, his phone vibrated again. Yukinoshima had sent a new message: Your curse energy is fully within my range—understand?

Great—that’s not good at all!

He quickly put away his phone and dashed towards the rooftop.

Pushing open the rooftop door, Hachiman saw Yushinomiya Yushimi cross-armed, grinning playfully… No, it’s Lin Qi!

As he approached, Lin Qi beckoned him over. Just as Hachiman was considering whether to perform a dramatic apology, his arm was suddenly grabbed.

“Hold on tight.”

Lin Qi leaped in a warrior’s stance, carrying Hachiman away from the rooftop.

Before Hachiman could react, the wind whipped past him. Opening his mouth to ask where they were headed resulted in him swallowing air. His eyes widened as he watched Lin Qi propel them between buildings.

When they landed again, they were outside an orphanage.

Hachiman, touching the ground, felt his knees tremble and stumbled toward a pair of long legs.

Looking up, he met a tall man with white hair, blindfolded with a black eye patch. One couldn’t help but wonder how he navigated…

“Hey, you’re quick,” Satoru Gojo greeted.
