The Strongest Lunarian in One Piece

Chapter 375: Chapter 375: God Valley?

"A Logia Sand-Sand Fruit?"

The next day,

upon hearing Sally's report, El raised an eyebrow. "Those World Government guys sure have a rich collection!"

He hadn't expected them to have not only the Logia Glint-Glint Fruit but also the Logia Sand-Sand Fruit. Indeed, a powerful and well-established force worthy of envy.

"That won't do," Linlin objected unhappily. "The Sand-Sand Fruit might sound good, but it's nowhere near the Glint-Glint Fruit."

She refused outright without a second thought. After all, she had her heart set on giving the Glint-Glint Fruit to her beloved thirteen-year-old daughter, Hestia, for her birthday.

"Yes, we rejected them without hesitation…"

Sally nodded in agreement, smiling. "But then the Navy said they'd throw in a Paramecia Bomb-Bomb Fruit on top. They claim that's the best offer they can make, and if we accept, we can finalize the deal."

"A Paramecia Bomb-Bomb Fruit?"

Linlin's eyes widened before she grinned playfully. "Mamamama—looks like Steel-Bone Kong is getting desperate, going all out."

"Hmm… Putting the Sand-Sand Fruit aside, plus that Zoan Ancient Model Bear-Dog Fruit, the Paramecia Twinkle-Twinkle Fruit, and the Paramecia Magnet-Magnet Fruit…"

Gerd, who had just walked in, chuckled. "Adding in a Paramecia Bomb-Bomb Fruit isn't half bad."

"Too much is as bad as too little. This is probably the limit of what the Navy can offer… Agree to it," El said, nodding. He turned to Sally and gave the directive.

"But, El-oniichan…"

Linlin didn't seem happy. She had been hoping for the Glint-Glint Fruit. From what El had mentioned, that ability was unbelievably powerful and dazzling, and it would have been the perfect birthday present for six-year-old Hestia.

"No need to be hasty. The World Government's plan is to use that Glint-Glint Fruit as a prize in their triennial 'hunting massacre,' right?" El waved away her concern with a smile. "Although we don't intend to fully tear into the World Government and wage open war, it doesn't mean we're going to sit on our hands."

He did feel a bit regretful that the Paw-Paw Fruit had already been eaten by that brat Kaido. Still, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as they were all technically on the same side. More interesting was what kind of prizes the Five Elders might be preparing for this "study trip" event.

"Eh?"

Linlin looked taken aback. "Have we figured out where those guys plan to do their 'hunting?'"

"Heh, our investigation just confirmed the World Government's target is the non-affiliated West Blue nation—God Valley!" Sally answered with a mischievous smile. "Word is the local Navy out west is already preparing a fleet to break through that country's defenses."

"God Valley?" Gerd reacted with surprise. "If I recall correctly, our Hell Trading Company has done quite a bit of business with that kingdom over the years!"

She remembered God Valley because the country, though not allied with the World Government, had abundant resources. As early as ten-plus years ago—back when the Fallen Angel Pirates had yet to formally reveal themselves—the Hell Commerce Guild under them had begun commercial trade with God Valley, making it one of their major clients.

Just then—

"Buru-buru… Buru-buru…"

The Den Den Mushi in Sally's pocket rang abruptly.

"I'm Sally. What is it?" Sally paused, then took the call.

"Sally-sama, we've just received word from Hachinosu Island… Yesterday, World Government CP agents infiltrated this pirate stronghold and stole a Devil Fruit from the Rocks Pirates' treasury! Right now, the Rocks Pirates are going berserk, searching frantically for those CP agents' whereabouts!"

"What? A Devil Fruit? From the Rocks Pirates' treasury?"

El, Linlin, and Gerd exchanged astonished looks.

"Yes, reportedly it was a very precious Mythical Zoan. Rocks, Golden Lion, and Whitebeard had been fighting among themselves over its ownership but hadn't come to a conclusion, so it was kept in the treasury. It's unclear if anything else was taken."

"Heh-heh, this gets more and more interesting!"

"Mamamama—think they'll offer that fruit as a reward?"

Sally and Linlin both started laughing.

"I doubt the Rocks Pirates will let this slide easily, so the Navy's got trouble ahead," Gerd added with a smile.

"That's beside the point—if we quietly feed some intel on the Celestial Dragons to the Rocks Pirates, they can go over there and stir the pot," Linlin said, licking her lips with a mischievous grin. "If they manage to kill a few Holy Knights or maybe an Admiral, that'd be even more entertaining!"

"In that case, let's have Barry and Uthan get to God Valley ahead of time and prepare…" El said, not hesitating, a cold smile forming. "We'll show no mercy and seize everything the World Government has carefully planned to set out as prizes!

"Also, notify Dal to join the operation. We may need his ability. They should act in secret and avoid exposing themselves—just quietly switch out whatever rewards the World Government has prepared, without leaving a trace!"

With Dal's buggy Transfer-Transfer Fruit, plus Barry's Mirror-Mirror Fruit and Uthan's Door-Door Fruit, it would be child's play to slip past the World Government's notice and swap the prizes. El had already decided: if the Roger Pirates and Rocks Pirates both made a move on God Valley, he'd dispatch people to intercept Roger's group, letting Rocks raise a storm in God Valley unopposed.
