Canary smirked and ended the call which after he opened the phone and removed the simcard.

At the very time Lisa was coming along to clean the corridor with a mopper in her and a bucket.

She begun cleaning with much of her focus onto the floor but her head was filled with angry thoughts.

' Those two idiots made me lose my job. Why is the World in fair ? ' She asked herself while she continued cleaning.

' I hate men ! fuck all men ! " She cursed in a soft murmur still cleaning the floor and she continued moving forward without seeing what was before her.

' Men you are evil ! ' She spoke angrily and put the rug in the water with all her force and fury and the moment she removed it the wet rug landed on a pure white sneaker.

Lisa opened her eyes in shock and knelt before the person she didn't know.

" I am sorry. I will clean it right now. " She said pulling out her hanky but before she could press it on the white sneaker the voice said.

" Don't put your dirty on my shoe. " She heard him very well ' Hmmm, I am trying to clean him up and this is how he answers ' and stood up on her feet.

On raising her head to look up at him

She was put ablaze by his looks. She first swallowed hard and stared at the well created features on his face. The eyes, the nose and the lips were just perfect than she had ever seen before.

She was still taken by his handsomeness when his voice brought her back to reality.

" Hi, You dirtened my shoe. Do you know how much it costs ? " He asked coldly in a hoarse voice.

" Sir, I am sorry. I didn't see you coming. " She apologized with a low bow and looked at him again in panic.

" I can make it up for you. " She said.

He smirked. " You are just a cleaner. Can you even afford a new pair ? " He asked .

" Of course not. I will clean the shoes for you then.. " She said.

" Leak it ! " Canary declared.

" What ? " Lisa asked not believing.

" Since you want to clean it so much, Then leak it. " He smirked. " Then I will consider forgiving you. " Said he proudly.

Lisa shook her head in disbelief. " Mr, I don't know who you are but please learn to respect people. " She said giving up a serious look.

Lucy who was just inside heard the voices from outside and wondered who Canary was talking to so she came out.

Canary chuckled. " You also want respect here ? " He asked and bent towards her.

" You are just a cleaner. Just like a piece of trush, a slave, a servant. So you must do whatever you are asked to. " He whispered into her ear.

These words reminded Lisa of the two men who called her servant and made her lose her anger. The anger she kept inside rose and without a second thought she gave Canary a very hot slap across his left cheek.

Lucy whom they had not seen saw this and her eyes widened in shock. No one had ever dared to slap Canary, Not even Lucy herself.

Canary touched his cheek in disbelief. " You..." He said and clenched his fists and he was about to punch Lisa " Stop right there ! " A voice stopped him from behind and when they both turned around it was Lucy.

" Mom.." Canary called.

" How dare you attempt to slap a woman , Aren't you shameless ? " Lucy asked him in fury.

" Mom, Do you know that she slapped me ? " Canary asked.

" So what ? " Lucy yelled at him and turned to look at Lisa but to their surprise she didn't look afraid of any of them.

" Do you have any issues with my son ? " Lucy asked.

" I am sorry Ma'am. I accidentally knocked his shoe. I have tried to apologize and clean it for him but he doesn't listen. " Lisa explained while Canary looked at her angrily.

" I am sorry on his behalf. " Lucy said politely.

" Mom , She is the one supposed to apologize. " Canary yelled.

Lucy smiled and said. " You know my son has been abroad for sometime so he lucks manners. I am...can we have a talk ? " Lucy asked surprising Canary again.

" Mom.." He called.

" Go back and watch your father. " Lucy said and smiled at Lisa.

Canary angrily went back inside.

Lucy took Lisa to a more convenient place for a talk and she ordered for drinks.

Lisa looked at this woman with a number of questions in her head.

" Aren't you afraid to look at me like that ? " Lucy asked gently.

" I am just wondering what you want to discuss with me after what I have done to your son. " Lisa answered.

" Well...I think we have a lot to talk. " Lucy said as their coffee cups were brought.

Lucy took a sip and said. " You look familiar. Have we ever met before ? " She asked.

Lisa smiled. " I don't even know you. " She said.

" I am surprised. Everyone in the city knows me. " Lucy said.

" I don't.." Lisa Sharply responded.

" Well, I am Lucy Anderson from Andersons group " Lucy proclaimed.

" Hahaha.." Lisa laughed and then said.

" Then I am the first lady of Annertoz.." Lisa challenged in thinking that Lucy was lying.

Lucy shook her head and pulled out an ID. It was really showing Lucy Andersons.

Lisa looked at her again in disbelief. " So you are really Mrs Andersons from one of the wealthiest families in Annertoz ? " Lisa asked.

Lucy smirked and said. " Yes. You should be glad that I am talking to you right now. "

" So...Mrs Anderson, Why may I help you ? " Lisa asked.

" My husband got an accident yesterday. Because of this ,my son will soon or later take on the Company.." Narrated Lucy.

" I would like to hire you as his Personal Assistant. " Lucy declared.

" Personal Assistant ? " Lisa questioned in shock.

" Mmm.."

" Why are you suddenly interested in giving me a job ? " She asked.

" Because I liked your guts. " Lucy said.

" What do you mean ? "

" I've never seen someone slap Canary before. So...I believe you will not be afraid to do anything I ask you.." Said Lucy.

" Mrs , I am not understanding.." Lisa asked in confusion.
