Reincarnated in DxD With the 100X System

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - Breaking Limits, One Push-Up at a Time

Time for some serious testing.

I dropped to the floor and started with push-ups.

[Ding~] 100x Multiplied!

One rep. My arms barely felt the effort.

Ten reps. My chest and shoulders tensed, but it was… comfortable?

Fifty reps. Still not tired. If anything, I felt stronger.

I sat up, checking my arms again. Was it my imagination, or had my biceps actually thickened a little?

"No way. That fast?"

Next up: sit-ups.

[Ding~] Effect Applied – 100x Efficiency Boost

By the time I reached a hundred, my core felt tighter than a bodybuilder flexing for Instagram.

"This has to be the cheat working. It's literally multiplying my effort a hundredfold!"

Excited, I decided to push further.

Dressed in a simple training outfit, I stepped outside into the mansion's massive garden. The property was huge—easily a few acres of open land, with paved paths winding through well-manicured trees and flower beds.

I crouched down, ready to test my speed.

"Alright. Just a light jog to warm up."

The moment I pushed off the ground, my entire world blurred.

[Ding~] Speed x100 Activated!

"OH CRAP—!"

I wasn't jogging. I was sprinting like a damn Olympic athlete. My feet barely touched the ground before I shot forward like a bullet. Wind rushed past my ears, and in the blink of an eye, I was already at the other side of the garden.

I skidded to a stop, feet digging into the gravel. My heart pounded. Not from exhaustion—no, I felt fine—but from pure, unfiltered hype.

"I just ran the length of a football field in, what, two seconds? System, you're officially my best friend!"

I jogged back, this time controlling my speed. Even at a slow pace, I could feel how much more efficient my body was.

My muscles felt primed—like I had just unlocked a higher-tier body. And if my body had evolved this fast...

What about my mind?

Could I learn new skills at a ridiculous pace? Could I boost intelligence just by studying?

I needed to test this.

Could I read through books at 100x speed and absorb everything?

Could I learn a language in a day?

If I tried a complex skill like swordsmanship, would my mastery skyrocket?

I rubbed my chin. A dangerous glint flashed in my eyes.

"If this works… I might just become unstoppable."

I had the cheat of all cheats—but this was just the beginning.

——————————

Sitting at my desk, I stared at the thick high-school math textbook in front of me. Just yesterday, this thing was my mortal enemy. Quadratic equations, calculus, trigonometry—absolute nightmares.

But now? Now I had cheat codes.

"Alright, System. Let's see if you work on brains too."

[Ding~] 100x Learning Efficiency Activated!

With a deep breath, I flipped open the book to a random calculus problem and started reading.

My eyes skimmed over the first equation… and suddenly, it all made sense.

Wait. What?

I blinked. Quadratic equations had been my nemesis yesterday. Now, my brain was solving them before I could even process the steps.

It was like someone had flipped on a hidden math genius mode inside me.

Every single equation made perfect sense. The formulas I once struggled to remember? They clicked instantly.

[Ding~] Advanced Mathematics Acquired!

I flipped to the next page. More derivatives and integrals, but instead of inducing despair, they felt weirdly easy—like a puzzle I'd already solved before.

"Hold on…" I muttered, quickly scanning the next ten pages.

Still easy.

I went faster, flipping through entire chapters in mere minutes.

At some point, I found myself solving problems without even thinking. My pencil moved automatically, my mind already predicting answers before my hand finished writing them.

[Ding~] Calculation Reflexes Upgraded!

I set the pencil down and leaned back, wide-eyed.

"Did I just… speedrun calculus?"

A slow grin spread across my face. This is nuts.

Before today, I struggled with simple algebra, and now? Now I could probably give a TED Talk on differential equations.

"Maybe I'll finally impress those genius anime girls instead of being the clueless protagonist for once!"

—————————

Riding the high of my math breakthrough, I grabbed my laptop and pulled up a German learning video.

"Alright, let's see if this 100x multiplier works on languages too."

The video instructor's voice chimed in:

"Hallo. Das bedeutet 'hello' auf Deutsch."

[Ding~] 100x Learning Efficiency Activated!

The moment the words entered my ears, something clicked in my brain.

"Hallo." I repeated, my pronunciation flawless, as if I'd been speaking German my whole life.

Wait… what?!

I replayed the video. This time, the instructor said:

"Ich heiße Anna. Das bedeutet 'My name is Anna.'"

But before she even finished, my brain had already absorbed it.

"Ich heiße Malrik." I spoke smoothly, the words rolling off my tongue like second nature.

I needed to push this further.

Switching to Russian, I tested another phrase.

"Привет, меня зовут Малрик." (Hello, my name is Malrik.)

Again—flawless.

[Ding~] Language Mastery Acquired: German (Fluent), Russian (Fluent)!

"No way. NO WAY."

I hopped off my chair, pacing around my room. I had just hacked language learning.

"Forget studying abroad—I could become a polyglot in a single afternoon. Danke schön, 100X!"

The possibilities were endless.

If I could learn math and languages at this speed… what about science? Engineering? Martial arts?

A shiver of excitement ran down my spine.

"I might actually become the most broken protagonist ever."

And honestly? I was loving every second of it.

——————————

I was still riding the high of my 100X Intelligence breakthrough when I heard it—the front door unlocking.

My mental victory lap skidded to a halt. The distant sound of luggage wheels echoed through the entryway.

My parents were home.

Or rather, their parents—the parents of this body.

I took a slow, steady breath, adjusting to the strange sense of déjà vu. The memories of this life painted a picture of two powerhouses of industry, yet this was my first time meeting them.

"Welp… this should be interesting."

I descended the grand staircase, casual but alert, my mind cycling through the fragments of Malrik's life that had merged with my own. These were the people who had raised him—me?—yet I had no true memories of feeling their love, their scolding, their presence.

And now, I was about to meet them for the first time.

As I reached the bottom of the staircase, my parents stepped into the living room, both dressed in their usual power couple attire—impeccable suits, designer watches, the whole billionaire mogul aesthetic.

Edward Van, my father. Charismatic, silver-haired, the embodiment of an alpha businessman.

Aria Van, my mother. Elegant, graceful, but with eyes as sharp as a blade—someone who could dismantle corporate empires with a well-placed word.

Their presence was commanding, yet for the first time, I was no longer a timid recluse in their shadow. I was someone entirely different now.

And they noticed immediately.

They froze.

Complete silence.

My father's confident stride halted mid-step. His razor-sharp instincts—the ones that had conquered entire industries—were now failing him in the face of… me.

My mother, usually composed and unreadable, actually let out a small gasp.

Edward blinked once. Then twice. His gaze flickered toward Aria, searching for confirmation that he wasn't imagining things.

Silence stretched between them, thick with disbelief.

Then, finally, my father spoke.

"Aria… do we have another son I forgot about?"

She lightly smacked his arm without looking away from me. "Don't be ridiculous. That's definitely Malrik… Just… different."

Very different.

A smirk tugged at my lips. I leaned casually against the staircase railing, masking the oddity of meeting my own parents for the first time.

"Welcome home, Mom. Dad. How was the trip?"

That seemed to break the spell.

My father let out a booming laugh, the tension in the room evaporating in an instant.

"My boy! Look at you! Broad shoulders, sharp jawline, a confident stance!" He clapped his hands together, his face lighting up like he had just closed a multi-billion-dollar deal.

"This is fantastic! I always knew you'd grow into a fine man, but this? This is boardroom material! Imagine the looks on the investors' faces when I tell them my son underwent a full anime protagonist transformation overnight!"

I groaned. "Dad, please don't turn my glow-up into a corporate strategy."

"Too late, son. The Van family brand just got a major upgrade."

Meanwhile, my mother stepped forward, her sharp eyes scanning me up and down with an unreadable expression.

I resisted the urge to shift under her gaze.

Then, she reached out and tilted my chin ever so slightly with a single elegant finger.

"Oh, darling," she mused, her lips curving into a knowing smile. "You've finally decided to charm the ladies, hmm?"

A shiver ran down my spine.

"Mom." I sighed.

She chuckled, stepping back with a gleam of amusement. "I suppose I should start screening potential fiancées, then?"

I choked. "What?!"

My father laughed harder. "She's not joking, son. Do you know how many business associates have daughters your age? With that face and physique, you're prime heir material!"

I ran a hand down my face, already exhausted.

This was not where I expected this conversation to go.

Despite their teasing, I could see it—the genuine warmth in their expressions. They might be ridiculously successful and busy, but they still cared.

My mother smiled softly. "Jokes aside, Malrik, we're just happy to see you like this. You look… confident. Like you're finally stepping into your own potential."

My father nodded, his voice quieter this time. "She's right. We've been worried about you. But today… I can tell something's changed. Whatever it is, keep at it."

Something inside me warmed at their words.

Sure, they were chaotic rich parents, but they believed in me.

And with my 100X System, I was going to exceed every expectation they ever had.

I grinned. "Don't worry. I have big plans."
