MTL NOVEL Chapter : Must READ
I can't help but get the feeling that most of you have little to no interest in what I am writing. And I understand. No one likes to read some other guys emotion. You all just want sexy-mexy stuff to read, enough action to make blood boil. This is a story based on emotion and yes, I am not good enough at writing to do that in a grand scale. But, its just a trial for me. I am learning.
The first volume is about emotion, character development. Because you can say the One Piece World I have thought for the fanfic is dark, gritty and a lot more gore-y than most of the fanfics I have read on any sites. So, the MC needs character development. Not in a good way but in a crazy way.
And for the MC surviving without any explanation, all I can say is it will be explained but very later in the story. Him surviving has a reason. Plot armor, yes but he has a reason.
For the system lovers, that are sad, because no system in the first volume. You will get system related writing but the system is too overpowered to be used so soon in the story. Its not like the normal system with quests. No, its something much greater. Maybe a peek into the infinity genre, Who knows? A peek into my original novel idea. ( Shameless plugin)
For the action lovers, all I can say is wait a bit more, action is coming. Action with a lot of insanity. Though my writing might not be at that level. I will try to reach that level. Can't just end the boss fight in a chapter. It would take away the whole fun.
Now for the lovecraft theme, All I will say is that it is a very, Very big part of the story. A One piece story with love craft elements. Just imagine it, fighting a Cthulhu in the dark night at sea in the storm.
For the Mugiwara crew, They play a big part in the story because why wouldn't they? But the MC won't be a number two in the crew and do just a small change in the story like all the other fanfic I have read of. Because while that seems fun, Being with luffy is fun, granted you need to survive, but it does the MC no favor. The crew has their own goal. The MC has his own. They don't match but Mc will use The Strawhat just cause he would be a ididot if he didn't.
The MC character arc is the volume 1 which I am writing and if you have any problem understanding the Mc you can ask me. I will try to tell without spoiling the good stuff.
The first volume, from chapter 1 to chapter 50 ish, feels a bit iffy, doesn't follow the flow of the previous chapter because I spent a heck lot of time trying to match them with the Mc character. All that monologue, thinking, this and that I had to recheck it over and over again. Heck, the first chapter regarding notifications was around 30k words. I read it a few times and found it depressing as fuck. So depressing that you would ask me if I was making the MC guts. if I was making a breserk fanfic. So depressing that you might even ask how are you author? i had to trim it to 6k words throwing away all the depressing stuff and I really don't want to go back doing that.
So expect the Volume 1 to be a bit out of flow chapter to chapter. One chapter it might be happy, sad, angry, melancholy, mad, insane and a lot more. And it kinda make sense for the MC I am writing. Everything that is happening to him is happening with gap intervals. So his mood change, can be justified like that.
Love Interest. I have a girl in mind.
She will be used to provide a dilemma to the MC. Used to know the MC emotion better, change it. Just do stuff a girl would to a boy in love.
Lastly, MC will not give a damn for the storyline later on. At first he will use it to the fullest and then bam he will be the one moving chess pieces.
