Chapter 9: Captured
Kisame's speed and durability had increased exponentially in his shark-like form, and with the battlefield now submerged in water, he held the upper hand. He cast a fleeting glance at Naruto, who stood on the water's surface, his feet anchored by focused chakra.
Naruto's mind was a maelstrom of self-doubt and frustration. "Hey, Fox Kid, what's with that face?" Kisame's voice cut through the air. "Remember what I said? You better not disappoint me..." He paused, his chest heaving with exertion, before continuing, his voice rising to a yell. "For someone with a tailed beast inside them, you're sure weak! Don't hold me back!"
Naruto's knees buckled, and he fell forward, the water splashing against his face. He muttered to himself, his voice laced with disgust and frustration. "Fuck, fuck, why am I so weak? Am I worthy of being a jinchuriki? And on my first mission, this has to happen? No!"
Suddenly, a sound like dripping water echoed inside Naruto's head, and his eyes flashed intermittently with a strong orange color, the same hue as the Nine-Tails sealed within him.
The scene shifted, taking us inside Naruto's mind. We saw Naruto standing in the same position, but in a dark, foreboding place. The only illumination came from a faint, flickering glow surrounding him and a massive gate in the distance. The gate was adorned with a sealing mark, identical to the one on Naruto's belly.
Kurama, the giant orange Nine-Tails, appeared before Naruto, its majestic presence making Naruto seem tiny in comparison. The beast's eyes lit up, and its voice was like thunder. "Hey, kid."
Naruto looked up sheepishly, but remained silent. Kurama continued, its voice dripping with sarcasm. "You seem like you're in urgent need of my power. I sense your opponent has a tailed beast inside him, just like you. I'll lend some of my power now. Now, don't look down, stand tall!" Kurama laughed menacingly.
On the outside, Naruto's body began to undergo a transformation. An orange cloak started to form around his body, and a cloak tail developed, split, and another one emerged, mimicking the iconic two-tailed form of the Nine-Tails' chakra cloak.
Killer Bee's eyes widened in surprise, his voice laced with concern. "I'm sensing the same chakra as mine inside that boy... and that boy has gone into two-tails cloak."
Eighto's voice echoed in Killer Bee's mind, "Then that means he's a jinchuriki... but why would he be in cohorts with the Akatsuki?" Killer Bee's expression turned grave, his rap tone serious. "This changes everything, Eighto. We gotta be careful."
Kisame's grin widened, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Yes, that's more like it, Fox Boy."
Naruto, now fully enveloped in the two-tailed cloak, his teeth sharpened into fox-like fangs, and his eyes blazing with a fierce red glow, charged towards Killer Bee with a fierce battle cry. Killer Bee, in his Octopus-like Eight-Tails form, prepared to defend himself.
Eighto, sensing Naruto's approach, warned Killer Bee, "Bee, he's coming!"
At the same time, Kisame charged towards Killer Bee, his laughter echoing through the air. "That's it, Fox Boy! Now the real fun is about to begin!"
Killer Bee, anticipating the attack, charged up another Tailed Beast Bomb. However, Naruto proved too fast, appearing behind the Eight-Tails and slashing at it with his claw-like hands, momentarily distracting it.
Kisame seized the opportunity, his hands weaving through a series of intricate seals. "Art of the Ninja, Water Style, Water Prison Jutsu!" he declared, his voice dripping with malevolence.
The Water Prison Jutsu, a powerful and versatile technique, created a massive, spherical prison of water that could immobilize and crush its victims. The jutsu worked by manipulating the water molecules in the surrounding environment, creating a dense, heavy, and almost unbreakable barrier that could trap and disorient its targets.
As Kisame activated the jutsu, a colossal sphere of water erupted from the ground, encasing Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails within its crushing depths.
Kisame increased the pressure of the Water Prison Jutsu, making it harder for Killer Bee to escape. "Damnit, Eighto, it's no good!" Killer Bee exclaimed, his voice strained. "I'm almost at my limit too, Bee!" he added, before starting to rap his frustration.
Kisame's grin widened, clearly enjoying Killer Bee's predicament. "Art of Ninja, Water Prison Shark Dance!" he declared, activating the technique.
The Water Prison Shark Dance, a powerful extension of the Water Prison Jutsu, allowed Kisame to manipulate the water within the prison to create a swirling vortex that could further restrain and disorient his opponent. Within the sphere, a clone of Kisame in his shark-like form appeared, repeatedly headbutting Killer Bee with swift and precise movements.
Naruto, now closer to the Water Prison, charged up the Rasenshuriken, this time using one of his tails, which had grown to a three-tailed state. The Rasenshuriken, a massive, spherical ball of chakra infused with Naruto's wind-based nature, was capable of causing massive destruction and tearing through even the strongest defenses.
As Naruto threw the Rasenshuriken towards Killer Bee, who was trapped in the Water Prison, the ball of chakra exploded on impact, releasing a massive shockwave that threatened to obliterate the surrounding area. The Rasenshuriken's unique properties allowed it to tear through the Water Prison, striking Killer Bee with incredible force and speed.
As the Rasenshuriken exploded on impact, a massive shockwave ripped through the air, threatening to obliterate the surrounding landscape. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the sound of the explosion echoed through the valley, a deafening roar that seemed to shake the very foundations of the earth.
The Water Prison Jutsu, already strained from containing Killer Bee's immense strength, shattered under the force of the Rasenshuriken, releasing a torrent of water that swept through the area like a tsunami. The water buffeted Naruto and Kisame, sending them stumbling backward, but they quickly regained their footing.
As the dust settled, Naruto approached Killer Bee, who lay motionless on the ground. The Eight-Tails jinchuriki had reverted to his original form, his body battered and bruised from the onslaught. Naruto stared down at him, his eyes cold and detached.
Kisame, still suffering from the exertion of using the Water Prison Shark Dance, reminded Naruto, "Remember, Fox Boy, it's no good if we kill him. We need to bring him back alive."
Killer Bee, slowly regaining consciousness, looked up at Naruto with a mixture of confusion and anger. "You're a jinchuriki like me... why are you working with the Akatsuki? You know they're after the power inside you, too... why would you...?"
Naruto's expression turned merciless as he knelt down beside Killer Bee. With a swift and precise motion, he struck Killer Bee with his elbow, rendering him unconscious once more. As Naruto's anger subsided, his cloak slowly dissipated, and he became more calm and collected.
Kisame, now back in his original form, picked up the Samehada, which had split from his body during the battle. He walked over to Killer Bee, who lay collapsed on the ground, and used the Samehada to lift him onto his shoulder. "What a bothersome one," Kisame muttered.
Naruto's expression had darkened, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. Kisame's voice broke the silence, "Fox Kid, we better get out of here before reinforcements arrive."
