NARUTO: Ninja World Scientific Revolution

During the last attack from the Sand Ninja, Hyuga Mirai and Kurenai Yuhi had joined forces to kill an elite puppeteer, and the injuries and toxins they sustained were left by the puppeteer as they died. Thanks to the medical ninja armor, which had Yang Release chakra, their external wounds were healing well, and the poison had been largely suppressed by the antidote they carried.

In the medical camp, there were other ninjas who had sustained more serious injuries, so before Hyuga Mirai arrived, they were still waiting their turn. Hyuga Mirai skillfully performed the detailed extraction technique, and with his mastery of chakra control, he was able to clear about ninety percent of the toxins in the body. The remaining poison, if it had already spread too deeply, couldn't be fully cleared, but it could be easily dealt with using the antidote.

Both Hyuga Mirai and Kurenai Yuhi had not been wearing their medical armor, and with numerous wounds on their bodies, it was clear the medical armor was no longer usable. After clearing the toxins, Hyuga Mirai handed each of them a bottle of antidote, signaling the end of the treatment. From then on, all they needed was to rest properly.

After treating the two, Hyuga Mirai continued with the other injured. With his help, the pressure on the medical camp had eased considerably. For Hyuga Mirai, a medical genius, many of the Konoha ninjas who were treated were eager to praise him.

By evening, once all the injured had been settled, the medical camp's lead medical Jonin, Aoki, approached Hyuga Mirai, gently patting his shoulder. "You've worked hard, Mirai-kun. Thankfully, Director Nakano sent you here. Otherwise, we'd have been in chaos."

Hyuga Mirai, with a warm smile, responded, "It's all for our comrades, Aoki-senpai. As a medical ninja, it's my responsibility."

He was in a good mood, knowing he'd soon be able to continue his research experiments in Kikyo City, so he didn't mind exchanging a few pleasantries.

"You're too modest, Mirai-kun. I had thought giving you the task of preparing the antidote might upset you," Aoki said.

Hyuga Mirai chuckled, "I should thank you, Aoki-senpai, for your trust in me."

His words were sincere. After all, the combat division had been moved to the Land of Rivers, and only a small group of Konoha ninjas remained in Kikyo City. Once Hyuga Mirai arrived there, it felt like paradise to him.

The two exchanged a few more words, and Hyuga Mirai decided it was time to head back. He had been busy all day and looked noticeably exhausted. Aoki, understanding his fatigue, would surely encourage him to rest. After all, Hyuga Mirai had treated the most patients in the camp, and it was obvious he was worn out.

As Hyuga Mirai left the medical camp, two people were waiting for him outside. Kurenai Yuhi waved at him, her tone slightly accusatory, "Captain, you're working so late again? The meal I prepared for you is already cold."

Kiyo Hyuga glanced at her without saying anything. 'Again?' she thought. This wasn't the first time, and if she hadn't found out today, neither of them would have told her about it.

"After all, I'm a medical ninja. It's hard to rest without taking care of the injured," Hyuga Mirai explained, taking the rice ball from Kurenai Yuhi to enjoy as a late-night snack.

"By the way, I've received a new mission. I need to go to Kikyo City to prepare antidotes, so I won't be able to join you on missions for a while," Hyuga Mirai added.

"We already know about it," Kiyo Hyuga said casually. "The Jonin in charge of assignments informed us. They asked if we wanted to add a new teammate since you're occupied with other tasks for the time being."

"But Kiyo turned them down," Kurenai Yuhi added helpfully.

As soon as Kiyo heard Kurenai's comment, she stiffened, and her face flushed slightly. "Who would arrange a stranger to join us during a battle? If they don't cooperate well, it could become a fatal weakness on the battlefield!"

Hyuga Mirai wasn't concerned about such small details and responded to both women, "It's your decision. But when we're on the battlefield, we need to be extra cautious. As for the medical gear, I'll help repair it once we're back in Konoha."

The three continued chatting about other things. For the most part, Hyuga Mirai listened to their stories about things that had happened when he wasn't around at the frontlines. However, as he listened, he found their conversation didn't seem to be about anything particularly important, which soon made him lose interest. Without making it obvious, he feigned exhaustion, hoping to end the conversation and receive their good wishes for his rest.

Back in his tent, Hyuga Mirai suddenly remembered that the money he made from selling military supplies hadn't yet been given to Orochimaru, so he used the Summoning Jutsu to have little purple swallow swallow the savings passbook and deliver it to Orochimaru. 

In just over a month, he had made over thirty million. This was more profitable than Orochimaru's sleepless days spent doing S-rank missions. It was a pity that Hyuga Mirai had to go prepare the antidotes, or they could have teamed up for another two months and earned over a hundred million.

The next day, Konoha sent over the equipment that Hyuga Mirai needed. Though many of the research devices weren't related to antidotes, the camp's commander, Orochimaru, knew this but didn't say anything. After Orochimaru approved it, ANBU members transported the equipment from Konoha Hospital using sealing scrolls to Kikyo City. Once Hyuga Mirai received the news, he went there promptly.

"Hyuga Mirai, Chunin, these are the devices you requested. Please check them," said one of the ANBU.

After checking everything, Hyuga Mirai nodded and confirmed with the ANBU. Once they received his approval, the ANBU immediately left to report back on their mission.

Once they were gone, Hyuga Mirai carefully examined each piece of equipment to ensure no surveillance devices were included. Once satisfied, he organized the items. 

"I should set up some barrier techniques and sealing jutsu," Hyuga Mirai thought to himself. While it was unlikely anyone would break in, he had to be extremely cautious, as the research he planned to undertake was sensitive.

This was the Konoha office building in Kikyo City, and Hyuga Mirai was located on the second floor underground in an empty room. It used to contain many items Tsunade had used, most of them related to antidote research.

"Next, I just need to focus a bit on deciphering the poison from the Sand Ninja, then I can work on creating bio-mechanical assistants. Luckily, I brought the Eight-Tails cells and Senju cells with me, or I'd have to return to Konoha," Hyuga Mirai thought, planning to first cultivate the fusion cells of the Eight-Tails and Senju cells to make external limb structures, and then move on to creating the energy core and intelligent control systems. 

"The biological brain transplant or artificial intelligence operation—both have their merits," he mused.
