Marvel : God of Wisdom

Chapter 4: 4- Birth

As I woke up, I felt a sudden tug—an unfamiliar force pushing against me. It wasn't painful, but it was unsettling enough to send a jolt of panic through me.

[Relax, Master. You're about to be born, so I woke you up. From now on, you can operate mentally with ease, and your divinities will begin to bloom the moment you enter the world. So your Life divinity would ensure that you hardly even need sleep, That means we can always be together~]

"Wait, what?! I'm being born? Like, right now?! What am I supposed to do? Do I need to move? Help Mom somehow?!"

I mean, it's not every day you get to be born, and I had no clue if babies instinctively do anything to assist their mothers. The sheer absurdity of the situation made me panic even more.

I was so panicked that I didn't even notice all the stuff Raphael said about divinity.

[Don't worry, Master. Just relax and leave it to me. For the birth process, I suggest you surrender control of your body to me. I'll calculate everything to ensure a smooth delivery—including your first cry. You just have to sit back and enjoy becoming a newborn.]

"Yeah... yeah, do that. I really don't want to experience birth consciously. Sounds like a horrifying experience."

[Understood, Master. Should I take control now?]

"Yes, Raphael. All yours. Good luck."

And with that, I let my ever-reliable companion handle the serious business while I mentally braced myself for the disturbing reality of exiting a human body, or in this case, a goddess body.

[On it, Master. Wishing you a good start~] Raphael chimed cheerfully.

Darkness swallowed me once again—but only for a moment.

When I opened my eyes, my vision was hazy, but I could vaguely make out that I was imprisoned within a large chamber, enclosed by towering walls.

[That's a crib.]

'...Right. That's what I meant.'

Suddenly, a long and sharp cry of a woman rang through the room, followed by a moment of silence. Then, the pained screams of the woman were replaced by another newborn's wailing. My gut twisted fearing the worst.

[That's just your sister being born.]

'...'

Before I could process everything, I felt myself being lifted. Blinking through my blurry vision, I managed to make out the face of a giant of a man—his long beard and regal presence instantly commanding authority. He held me up with a firm yet careful grip.

[That's your father. Stay quiet, Master—he's about to name you. Try smiling a little.]

I barely had time to react before the man—my father—spoke in a booming voice.

"My first son... my heir. You were born strong—by far the mightiest child I have seen. It seems you are destined for greatness. You shall be named Magnar Odinson, for you will achieve many mighty feats."

I barely held back a smirk. Magnar Odinson. Damn, that's a badass name.

'Well then, Raphael... looks like I'm officially a god now. You may address me as the God of Life, Magnar Odinson. Looking forward to an eternity together.'

I flailed my tiny arms and gave a bright smile—which, judging by my father's approving chuckle, had the desired effect. He looked proud. That was both reassuring and concerning. If I had to guess, being the pride of the All-Father would mean expectations sky-high for me. No doubt, I'd be sent to the battlefield the moment I could walk.

As for being able to move this much just after being born, you normies are talking to the god of Life here, your puny limits don't apply for me.

[Welcome, Master~. To eternity.]

Raphael's voice had a new layer of emotion. I frowned.

'Hey, Raphael. Since when did you get... expressive?'

[Master, during your Divinity Amplification Project, you gained the Divinity of Wisdom, which was then integrated with me. This not only amplified your divinity but also expanded my consciousness.]

'Huh... So you got an upgrade from me getting an upgrade?'

[Precisely.]

'Alright, spill it. What else have you been hiding? I want details on my divinity—now.'

Raphael's voice took on a playful lilt.

[Since you insist, Master~. Let's start with your first divinity: Life. I've enhanced it to its highest theoretical potential—on par with Lady Death's dominion over death. Of course, you're nowhere near her level yet, but in theory, you could be.]

'Nice. Keep going.'

[Your second divinity, Wisdom, was mostly acquired through me, meaning you wield it via our connection. To maximize its potential, I merged it directly with myself, giving you a seamless interface and granting me a significant power boost.]

'Alright... and the third?'

[Ah, the most exciting one. After trillions of attempts, I succeeded in extracting a core aspect of your Life divinity: Birth. From this, I deciphered and forged a new divinity for you—Creation.]

For a moment, I just stared into the void of my crib.

Then, I grinned.

"Creation...? Hahaha... Raphael, you absolute genius."

With this, I had everything I needed. Magic, technology, genetics—nothing was out of my reach. The possibilities were endless.

'So, I can essentially create anything, right? With your knowledge and my divinity, we can bypass material limitations. We can build anything.'

[Indeed, Master. Whether rare metals, new elements, or entire systems of magic and technology—you now have the essentials needed to forge your own path.]

My grin widened.

'I can be like Tony Stark, crafting the ultimate tech... or Doctor Strange, mastering the deepest magic. But why stop there? I can combine and surpass them both.'

And a literal god of Creation, this moght seem like it is also non offensive, but I can theoretically "create" any attack and unleash them. So yeah, no need for me to have the fear of lack of firepower anymore.

While I was lost in thought, my father had already placed me back into the crib and turned his attention to my sister.

Odin's POV

I cradled my daughter in my arms. She was small and eerily quiet—so different from her brother.

Never had I seen a child as vigorous as Magnar. He would grow into a fine warrior—perhaps even surpass me one day.

Perhaps, when the time comes, he will understand my true ambitions.

Together, we could claim the universe for Asgard.

And my daughter... my intuition told me that she, too, would become something formidable.

I gazed into her dark, abyssal eyes and spoke with certainty.

"My daughter, born with eyes as dark as the night itself... you shall become a warrior who brings hell upon the enemies of Asgard. You shall be named Hela Odinsdottir."

Magnar and Hela. My children.

One, my heir.

One, my future general.

With them at my side, my empire would stretch across the stars.

I glanced at Frigga, the only one who truly brought me comfort. Seeing her safe relieved me, but my focus remained on my goal.

The children would grow strong.

Strong enough to help me conquer the universe itself.

The Celestials...

Did they really think they could stop me? Threaten me? The All-Father.
