Damien leaves from there in his car. As soon as Amelia comes inside the house, her mother says…

Amelia's Mother: Here comes your beloved daughter. He was getting worried for a long time.

Amelia : What happened mom, you look worried.

Amelia's mother: Nothing happened Amy, what is it, you have not come home yet and look how heavily it is raining, I was worried about you that how will you come home in such rain. And you even stopped your dad from coming to pick you up. He too has been roaming here and there repeatedly since long and is asking me one thing, why have you not come yet.

Amelia's dad : Hey you are at home . I have been waiting for you for so long. And why did you stop me from coming to pick you up.

Amelia: Dad, look how heavily it is raining, if you had come to pick me up and had got stuck in the rain yourself.

Amelia's dad : I am also saying the same thing, it is raining heavily, what if you got stuck somewhere.

Amelia: But I am not trapped, look I am standing in front of you. Now you stop worrying, I will freshen up and come. Mom, what is there to eat, I am very hungry.

Amelia's mother: The food is ready, you go and change your clothes and freshen up, otherwise you will catch cold. Till then I will set the food on the table.

Amelia: ohkk mom .

Amelia goes straight to her room and after freshening up comes down for dinner. All the food kept on the dinner table was giving out a very nice smell.

Amelia: Mom, what a wonderful fragrance it is. It seems that my stomach will be full just from the fragrance.

Amelia's mother: The stomach is not filled with just smell, one has to eat food for that.

Amelia's mother serves food to everyone. There was fun and frolic at the dinner table. The world they had built was full of happiness.

Amelia's Dad : By the way princess. How did you come home because taxi and bus are closed due to rain.

Hearing this from her dad, Amelia remembers the whole conversation between her boss and the car together.

Amelia: That dad, actually my boss, gave me a lift till home and he dropped me home.

Amelia's Dad: Did your boss give you a lift? Your boss seems like a very nice person.

Amelia's mother : You are saying absolutely the truth. Otherwise which boss takes such care of his employees that he drops them home.

Amelia's dad : Princess, if he had dropped you off at home, you should have brought him inside the house. In this way, we too could have met him and thanked him, after all, he has helped you so much.

Amelia's mother : Yes dear, you should have brought him inside the house, sending him away like this is not a good thing. If he had come, he would have had dinner with us.

Amelia makes a face at what her mom and dad say.....

Amelia: You don't even know my boss and you are supporting him so much and scolding your own daughter.

Amelia's Dad: Hey princess, we are not scolding you, we are just telling you that you should thank your boss.

Amelia's mother: Yes, honey. We are not scolding you, we are explaining that if he comes next time, bring him inside like this.

Amelia: Ohkk. I understood.

Aryan, who has been sitting quietly for so long, says.

Aryan : Looks like your boss has fallen in love with you, that's why he is caring for you so much.

Amelia's food gets stuck in her throat after hearing Aryan's words. Somehow controlling herself, Amelia scolds Aryan.

Amelia: Have you gone mad? You are saying anything. And you seem to know a lot about love, yes?

Aryan : This is not like that, I have seen in movies how bosses fall in love with their employees and care for them.

Amelia: You haven't been watching many movies these days, yes it seems you are going to fail the exam this year.

Aryan : No, it is not like that, I will not fail.

Amelia and Aryan were just fighting like this. Their parents are very happy to see them like this.

Amelia : Mom, Dad. You both are laughing, look what Aryan is saying.

Amelia: But this is not a movie, this is real life, nothing like this happens in it. And I cannot tolerate my boss even for 5 minutes, I can spend my entire life with him. No no… absolutely not.

Amelia's dad : Amy is absolutely right Aryan. Real life is different and even if it happens, we don't mind. Amy's boss seems like a nice person.

Amelia: Dad, you have also started . I will not talk to both of you.

After saying this, Amelia stands up and goes straight to her room. Her mother calls out to her from behind.

Amelia's mother: Amy, finish your food.

Amelia : I am full, I am going to sleep.

Amelia goes straight to her room without looking back and closes the door. There was still laughter coming from the dinner table.

Amelia: Today the incident with the boss was not enough, now these people have also started.

Complaining like this, Amelia goes to her bed and sleeps.

Amelia's mother : Why were you both teasing my daughter? Did you see she fell asleep without eating?

Amelia's dad : We were just pulling her leg.

Aryan : Yes mother, but see, by tomorrow morning sister will be like before. She loves us a lot, that is why she cannot stay angry with us for long.

The night passes by laughing and talking like this, and as soon as the morning arrives the hustle and bustle of the day begins. As usual, Amelia's eyes open at the sound of the alarm.

Amelia: it's already mornings.

Amelia sits up, stretches, and goes to the bathroom to get ready. Amelia gets ready, has breakfast and then leaves straight for her office.

All the employees in the office were busy with their work. The freshness of the morning was visible on everyone's faces. The sound of pressing the laptop buttons and the sound of crunching paper sheets was coming from the office.

Damien comes to the office. As soon as Damien arrives, his new secretary joins him. Damien was walking ahead and his secretary was following him and telling him the schedule of his entire day. Damien enters his office while walking.

Secretary: Boss. You have a meeting in half an hour. After that you have to attend an event. This is your business partner's event and you are the chief guest.

Damien: It's okay. You should come inside only when I call you.

Secretary: ohkk , boss.

The secretary leaves from there. Damien comes and sits in his chair. Sitting on the chair he looks up at the ceiling. Looking at him it seemed as if he was very worried about something.

Damian tries to put aside all his worries and concentrate on work. Then his eyes fell on the box kept on his table. The box was not big, it was small like any normal sweet box. Damien was a little surprised to see who kept this box here and why. To satisfy his curiosity he opens the box.

He was right, it was a sweet box. Inside the box were some pastries and a note with something written on it.

The surprise was from Amelia for Damien. This small effort had awakened so many emotions.

Till date no one has said thank you to him. Normally whoever meets him says sorry in the beginning. But today for the first time someone said thank you and that too in such a loving way.

It felt as if every word written on the note was being written directly on his heart from a very deep depth.

Damien puts his hand on his heart. He knows that Amelia is very different from everyone else. Damien was feeling the fast beats of his heart while keeping his hand on his heart.

Damien: Can such a simple word 'thank you' also be sound so good ? Thank you......…..?
