I Popularized the Pokemons in the Three Kingdoms

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Sima Yi!

Pokémon on the Move

Pokémon rarely leave their territory.

However, as with all things, there are exceptions.

Perhaps it was because they were still unfamiliar with this world, or maybe they were simply curious.

Either way, three Pokémon had unknowingly wandered into this quiet county town.

Leading the way was a bulldog-like Pokémon, its body primarily pink with a skirt-like frill covering its legs.

That's right—this fierce-looking little creature was Snubbull.

At this moment, the little Snubbull was stumbling forward, its movements clumsy yet strangely endearing.

If you ignored its somewhat intimidating eyes and the two sharp fangs protruding from its mouth, it was actually quite cute.

Speaking of Snubbull, one couldn't help but recall Madame Muchmoney's Snubbull from the anime—a playful, lively Pokémon with a kind heart.

Unfortunately, Meowth never reciprocated her affections.

---

The Unlikely Trio

Trailing behind Snubbull was a small rabbit-like Pokémon covered in brown and gray fur.

Its ears curled slightly, swaying as it hopped along.

Compared to Snubbull, this Pokémon was much more elegant and adorable.

With its soft, fluffy appearance, it was undeniably one of the cutest Pokémon around—Buneary.

It was no wonder that Pikachu had a hard time dealing with her in the past.

A few steps behind them walked a small blue turtle with a curled tail—Squirtle.

Somehow, these three Pokémon had banded together and found their way into human civilization.

As Snubbull, Buneary, and Squirtle made their way along the winding road, they unknowingly entered a densely populated area.

---

The Town's Shocked Reaction

The moment the townspeople saw them, their reactions were immediate—shock and fear.

These were creatures they had never seen before!

The rabbit didn't quite look like a rabbit, and the turtle didn't quite look like a turtle.

And the pink monster in the lead? It had a ferocious face, almost like a demon!

Some children, terrified by Snubbull's fierce expression, burst into tears.

Among them was a timid three-year-old named Sima Yi, who immediately began wailing.

His older brother, Sima Lang, only twelve at the time, panicked upon seeing his little brother cry.

He quickly ordered the servants to drive away the strange creatures and sent a messenger to inform their father, Sima Fang.

Within moments, the household servants armed themselves with sticks, brooms, and nets, preparing to confront the mysterious Pokémon.

Before the conflict could begin, however, Sima Fang himself hurried outside.

---

Sima Fang's Surprise

The moment Sima Fang laid eyes on the three Pokémon, his expression shifted from shock to pure excitement.

"This… Is this the Pokémon that Mengde spoke of?!"

Sima Fang had spent many years in Luoyang, serving as Magistrate of the city and later as Prefect of Jingzhao.

He had always admired Cao Cao, openly praising him on many occasions.

In many ways, he had played a significant role in boosting Cao Cao's reputation.

Because of their close friendship, Cao Cao had personally written to him, describing the mystical creatures called Pokémon.

In his letter, Cao Cao detailed their extraordinary abilities and even invited Sima Fang to Luoyang to meet Lin Yu, the Immortal Master, and experience Pokémon firsthand.

At the time, Sima Fang found it hard to believe.

Pokémon? Strange beasts with magical powers?

It all sounded too absurd.

And yet, he also knew that Cao Mengde was not the kind of man to speak nonsense.

So, he had remained skeptical but intrigued.

Then, one fateful day, he had witnessed a massive creature soaring through the sky, summoning a torrential downpour.

A beast as large as a mountain, resembling the mythical Kunpeng, had appeared before his very eyes.

That day, his entire world changed.

How could such a legendary creature exist?

Was Cao Mengde telling the truth all along?

Overcome with curiosity, he had planned to travel to Luoyang immediately—but fate had other plans.

The excitement of that day had caused him to fall gravely ill, forcing him to remain bedridden until now.

Throughout his recovery, news from Luoyang continued to reach him.

And the rumors were unbelievable.

Some claimed that Lin Yu could instantly cultivate farmland.

Others whispered that he had brought divine crops from the heavens, capable of yielding dozens of times more than regular millet.

Was any of it true?

He didn't know what to believe.

But one thing was certain—he needed to see it for himself.

And just as he was preparing to leave for Luoyang, fate intervened again.

Right here, at his own doorstep, stood three Pokémon in the flesh.

Among them, a small blue turtle—just as Cao Mengde had described in his letter.

---

Sima Fang's Decision

"These are Pokémon! Capture them immediately!"

His eyes shone with excitement, and the corners of his lips curled into a delighted grin.

He knew from Cao Cao's letter that this blue turtle could spray water and summon rain.

If that was true, then this Pokémon was a priceless treasure.

"Be careful! Don't hurt them!" he added quickly.

Sima Yi and Sima Lang, still young and confused, stared at their father in shock.

"Pokémon? What's a Pokémon?"

"Are these weird creatures really Pokémon?"

"How does Father know about them?"

But Sima Fang had no time to answer their questions.

He was too focused on capturing the Squirtle.

"Quick! Bring nets! Bring more nets!"

His mind raced—how could he ensure a successful capture?

Meanwhile, Snubbull and Buneary had already begun defending themselves.

Perhaps because Snubbull looked too intimidating, or maybe because its fangs were too terrifying, the servants and slaves decided to target Buneary instead.

After all, it looked much weaker.

With sticks, brooms, and nets, they rushed at Buneary, attempting to trap it.

Despite its agility, Buneary was eventually caught in a net.

"Ha! We got it!"

Sima Fang burst into laughter, thrilled by the capture.

"That was easier than I expected!"

"Could it be that these creatures aren't as strong as Mengde claimed?"

The three-year-old Sima Yi cheered excitedly, clapping his hands.

To him, this little rabbit was far more entertaining than the ones they kept at home.

But no one noticed.

Standing beside them, Snubbull's expression darkened.

And behind him, Squirtle's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint flashing within them.
