As I approached the arena, it was easy to see the rookie killer walking towards me from the opposite side. Not only was he wearing the same outfit he wore that day, he was also carrying the same staff. As we approached each other, I greeted him with a wave.

'Hello senior, thank you for helping me.'

Hearing this, the man's friendly face distorted and turned into a wild big grin.

'Little brat, enjoy your last moments on this earth. I'm going to tear you to pieces now.' At this moment, his aura exploded with great bloodthirstiness.

Well, now that he's showing his true colours, it's my turn.

'Well, senior, I think you should reconsider.'

While saying this, I let my aura, which I was still camouflaging as a normal person, go into a skin state. His eyes widened when he realised that I already knew how to use my nen. Ah definitely did not expect this.

Stammering 'Hhhow arrre you?'

Without letting him say more, I continue speaking like an excited rookie. 'Ahh please senior, I'm really excited, please beat me up.' I finish my speech with a huge laugh. His facial expression was changing between surprise and extreme anger so fast that I couldn't stop myself from laughing. Finally, he must have decided on anger, his face turned blue and he started to speak with spittle flying out of his mouth. 'How dare you. How dare you mock me like this. How dare you so easily acquire the power I have suffered so much to learn. I'll tear you to pieces, you bastard.'

Now he's blaming me for his past misfortunes. He's really mad.

Finally, he could not stand it and without even waiting for the referee's signal to start, he threw his staff on the ground and turned it into a gigantic snake. Don't mind me calling it a snake, this thing was huge, 7-8 metres long and one metre thick, an ugly red coloured green spotted thing that covered most of the arena looking as if it wanted to swallow me in one bite.

The snake rushed towards me with a speed not expected from its size. So a conjurer could have a special talent that he gave to the snake in this situation. I have to be careful. Let's do a test first. While I was avoiding the snake's attacks by jumping left and right, after its last attack, I avoided it by taking only two steps and struck a punch on the snake's head. The snake's head was thrown to the right by the impact of the punch. The next thing that happened was that a few of the green spots on the snake's tail lit up as if a light had been lit inside. So all the lights have to be switched on for the ability to be activated? In this case, it was simple. Target the user. Though that's what should be done against any summoner style fighter.

The next time the snake attacked me, I jumped on its head and jumped directly towards my opponent, using it as a platform. What I didn't expect was for another snake to form from its missing arm and shoot towards me. With quick reflexes I dodged it by twisting my body at the last moment while throwing two kunai towards the snake. I heard a cry of pain as one of the kunai luckily went into one of the snake's eyes. Seriously man what was this guy's obsession with snakes. I wonder if he was related to a certain snake uncle.

Anyway, enough of this, it's time to finish. Before giving my opponent the opportunity to recover from his pain, I make 15 hand seals in about a second and hit my hands on the ground.

Wood style: Rise of the world tree

I quickly continued and made about ten more hand gestures as a huge tree rose from the place where I had struck my hands.

Water style: Big flood

Suddenly, gallons of water emerged from the roots of the tree and flooded the entire arena. When I saw my opponent and his snake separated and struggling to swim away, I knew it was time to strike the final blow.

Wood style : wood dragon

A dragon-headed tree with a tree that I had just made hit my opponent so hard that he lost consciousness. With the end of the fight, I destroyed the tree and the water and headed out of the arena. At this time, I heard the announcer's announcement.

'Yes, the red-eyed devil Tobirama has achieved his first victory, while the snake master Vakurr has suffered another defeat, making a total of three losses.'

That's when it hit me. I hadn't even asked the rookie killer his name from start to finish.

17 March 1997

I was whistling a little whistle as I prepared my lunch when there was a knock at the door. I couldn't help frowning, I hate it when my lunch is interrupted. Before I opened the door, I couldn't help smiling at the person I felt behind the door and I opened the door with a big smile on my face.

'Hi Kastro, have you finally made up your mind?'

The room answered with a small smile.

'I've almost made up my mind, I just have a few questions.'

'Sure, come in please, I was just about to eat, I'll put a plate for you if you want.'

He followed me in silently. After sitting at the table, I was the one who started the conversation once again.

'So, what are your questions?'

'Firstly, what will the team you want to establish do, if it contradicts my ideals, I will reject your offer.'

After I put my fork in the safe, I started talking.

'I'm an adventurer and a martial artist, and the team I'm building is naturally related to that. In a few years, I will become a professional hunter. Then I plan to operate in a wide range of fields ranging from blacklist and crime hunting to magical animal and historical artefact hunting. In short, I will do whatever I feel like at that moment. The team I have established will be related to this. I hope this explanation is enough.'

'No problem, that's enough. My second question is, what exactly will your Nen training cover?'

'I will focus on learning the 4 basic principles and 7 advanced principles that every nen user should know. These are usually enough for a fight. Frankly, that's all I know.'

'And those personal skills, that man's snake and your wood and water, how can I learn them?

'These are examples of hatsu, one of the four basic principles. If you want to maximise your potential, you must create your own ability that best suits you, rather than imitating someone else.'

'I see. I'll be happy to accept his offer. When do we start training.'

With a big smile, 'After lunch.'

..............................…

When we got to the training area, I pulled a small blackboard in front of us and wrote NEN on it.

' First of all, let's start with what Nen is. Nen is the control of one's life force, also called aura, through the mind and aura nodes. Is there anything unclear so far?'

Kastro just shook his head as if to say no.

'Then let's move on to the four basic principles. First, the Ten. It is the form in which we do not allow the aura to move away from our body and we surround our body with it like a membrane.

Once protected, it forms a thin veil around the wearer that feels like standing in a warm, sticky liquid. Once learnt, it will never be forgotten, like swimming or cycling. Although the most basic technique of them all, Ten is also one of the most important, for along with Ren it plays an influential role in determining the strength and smoothness of a Nen user's aura flow.

Ten preserves the vitality of youth and reduces one's ageing because the energy that drives the body no longer leaks out; one can then prevent the body from breaking down and inhibit the ageing process. Ten is also the most basic defence against emotional Nen attacks and also offers limited protection against physical attacks, but hardly any protection when such attacks are amplified by the aura. Through frequent meditation and practice one can improve the quality of one's Ten and eventually protect it even in sleep.

'Next is Zetsu. It is the state where the person closes all aura nodes and prevents the aura from leaving the body. It also has the ability to hide one's existence.'

As I said this, I shifted into Zetsu form, preventing Kastro from sensing me. Kastro's eyes widened in surprise when he could not sense me even though I was right in front of his eyes. I continued without letting him speak or ask questions.

'The two biggest disadvantages are that since the aura nodes in the eyes are also closed, it takes away one's ability to see the aura, but it compensates for this by increasing one's aura perception. The other disadvantage is that since the body is no longer strengthened and protected by aura, you are more sensitive and vulnerable to Nen attacks. The biggest advantage is that it increases the speed of aura gain, so it is very advantageous to use it while resting. Usually arena fighters like you underestimate the importance of Zetsu, but without mastering Zetsu, you cannot use some advanced Nen techniques like In. Do you have any questions?'

'No, I don't have any important questions. At least not yet.'

 let's continue.

'The next basic principle, Ren, could be said to be the opposite of zetsu. By releasing an excessive amount of aura, all attributes such as defence, attack, speed are strengthened. Also, by colouring it with your emotions, you can create the phenomenon commonly called blood lust.' I release my bloodlust here, and Kastro, sensing my desire to kill, is startled and tense for a moment.

'The disadvantage is that it uses up aura very quickly, putting a great strain on aura capacity. You must be able to keep your Ren active for at least half an hour if you want to be able to engage in a nen fight. The last basic principle is Hatsu, which can be interpreted as your special power or personal technique. You must be able to stay in the Ren state for at least five minutes to start practising Hatsu. If you don't mind, let's start zetsu training.'

He had no questions, so we started training immediately.
