Holder of Magia Erebea Starting in HxH

As soon as he summoned the transparent gate, Touta noticed a small plaque beside it and a larger one above it. The larger sign read "Hunter World," while the smaller plaque beside the gate displayed two names:

The first was "Shinmai Maou World," and the second was "Rakudai Kishi World."

"So, this world is called Hunter World..." Touta muttered, surprised that his ability assigned names to worlds. After all, Hunter World did not have an official name. "Now, which world should I go to?"

To be honest, Touta was at a loss. He had no information about the worlds he could travel to, so there was no logical basis for his choice.

"Well then, let's do this." Touta smiled fearlessly. There was no reason for hesitation or doubt—no matter what he faced in the other world, he wouldn't die. After all, he was immortal. With that in mind, he didn't hesitate to pick another world.

Once he made his choice, Touta stepped into the gate without a second thought, disappearing from the worried gaze of Yukihime and Kuroumaru, who had been watching him with concern.

"Now then... I wonder where I am." Touta muttered as he looked around. It seemed like he was standing in front of a small store, but it was noticeably more modern than the ones in Hunter World.

"Looks like this world is more advanced than Hunter World."

"Hey there, are you alone?"

A casual voice caught Touta's attention. Turning toward the sound, he saw four rough-looking men approaching a beautiful red-haired girl whose hair was styled into twin tails.

"What do you say to having some fun with us?" one of the men smirked, surrounding the girl with his friends.

"Seriously? Idiots who only think with the lower half of their bodies exist even in other worlds?" Touta sighed in frustration. He had encountered plenty of these types before, especially due to Yukihime's beauty. "Well, at least we speak the same language—good to know."

Realizing that they were speaking a familiar language, Touta felt relieved. This saved him the trouble of learning a new language, which, while not a huge problem for him, would have been annoying. Even so, it would've taken him only about a week to learn it.

"You idiots. Leave the girl alone, or I guarantee you'll be spending at least a month in the hospital." Touta spoke coldly, using Shundō to instantly appear behind one of them and place his hand on the man's shoulder.

"Who the hell are you, bastard?!" The man growled, furious, and immediately swung his fist toward Touta's face.

"I see... Looks like you guys enjoy hospital beds."

Touta dodged the punch by tilting his head slightly to the right, then without hesitation, he drove his fist straight into the man's face.

Crush!

The moment Touta's fist connected, a crisp and chilling sound of breaking bones echoed in the air.

"Ko-chan!!" one of the other thugs shouted in shock as his friend was sent flying several meters before crashing onto the ground.

"You bastard!! How dare you hit Ko-chan!"

Seeing their friend unconscious, his nose broken and bleeding, the remaining three thugs became furious and lunged at Touta.

"Idiots..." Touta scoffed in disdain, swiftly kicking the nearest thug in the crotch before grabbing the heads of the last two and slamming them into the ground. The pavement cracked under the impact, and both men immediately lost consciousness.

"If you've learned your lesson, don't go harassing girls just because they're pretty," Touta said, though none of them were awake to hear him. He then turned to the girl, who was staring at him in shock.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine."

Despite the brutality of the scene she had just witnessed, the girl didn't seem scared of Touta.

"Thank you for saving me. By the way, my name is Naruse Mio."

"You're welcome, Naruse-san. Nice to meet you. My name is Konoe Touta." Touta replied with a light smile. "By the way, are you waiting for someone? If not, I can walk you home—it's dangerous for a girl as beautiful as you to be out this late."

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm actually waiting for someone." Mio smiled at Touta's genuine concern. Soon after, she spotted her companion approaching on a bicycle.

"Mio, are you alright?!"

A young man with brown hair, green eyes, and a scar beneath his right eye hurried toward them, his expression filled with worry. But when his gaze landed on Touta, it turned hostile.

"Who are you? What do you want from Mio?"

"Is he trying to act like an idiot?" Touta thought to himself. This guy had clearly seen everything from a distance, yet he hadn't bothered to help.

"Basara!! That's rude! Konoe-kun is the one who saved me from those guys!" Mio pouted, clearly unhappy with Basara's behavior.

"But..." Basara wanted to argue but wisely shut his mouth when he saw Mio's irritated glare.

"Well, since your friend is here, I'll take my leave." Touta turned around, not bothering to stay. Although Basara's behavior was suspicious, he didn't really care. They obviously knew each other, and besides, he had more important things to worry about—like finding a place to stay for the night. The sun was about to set.

"Once again, I really appreciate you saving me, Konoe-kun." Mio bowed slightly toward Touta as he walked away. "And I apologize for Basara's behavior."

Touta didn't say anything. He simply waved his hand as he left—he had far more important things to deal with than Basara's rudeness.
