About a year ago, I took my first stab at translating this work. To be blunt, it was a disaster—riddled with grammar issues, punctuation errors, and logical inconsistencies. Back then, I was doing it purely for fun, with no real plan. Early chapters followed a loose schedule, but as studies, exams, and life challenges piled up, updates became sporadic and eventually stopped. I made excuses—some true, some not—because, honestly, I lost interest. The effort felt overwhelming, and with little feedback (no likes, comments, or reviews), it was hard to stay motivated.

After a long break, I decided to overhaul the entire project. Thanks to tools like neural networks (bless the Omnissiah!), the process is now faster and smoother. I still manually review everything, fixing issues with names, unique terms, and context. To streamline this, I've created a massive dictionary — shared with AI assistants like Grok—to ensure accurate translations of characters, ships, and lore specific to the Star Wars universe. While this version isn't perfect (especially with some character names in early chapters, which I'll fix in time), later chapters will be much cleaner. Even this message has been polished with Grok's help (a fantastic AI that's also aiding me with Unity programming) to better express my thoughts.

Looking back, I can now work faster, smarter, and better. The tools and experience I've gained have turned this from a grueling chore into a mission I genuinely enjoy. I'm even thinking of translating other awesome Russian books I've discovered — I've devoured over 500 books across genres (mostly fiction), so I can spot a gem worth sharing. To fuel this passion, I've started a Patreon, though it's pretty bare-bones right now. That changes next week — I'll kick it into gear with updates, including my own fiction project. Picture this: a story drenched in grimdark, pain, and suffering, yet on the other side laced with comedy, joy, and over-the-top cliches. It's a wild mashup of all my fantasies and ideas, mercilessly mocking modern isekai and fiction tropes — those worn-out cliches like overpowered systems, SSS-rank abilities, and pathetic, downtrodden protagonists who suddenly gain godlike power and set off to save the world. Oh, and don't get me started on their endless debates about who's strong, who's weak, who deserves to live or die. It's going to be a chaotic, fun ride, and I can't wait to share it!
