Campione Scumbag in Mash-up Anime

Chapter 6: A Lively Night

While Ren and Itsuki were enjoying their primitive pleasures, Yotsuba had just finished replying to messages from Ichika, Nino, and Miku, who were asking about Itsuki's condition.

Seeing that it was already 11:30 PM and her husband, Fuutarou, still hadn't returned home, Yotsuba couldn't help but feel worried.

So, she called her husband. Fuutarou's tired voice came through the speaker.

"Hello?" His voice sounded slightly hoarse, like someone who had been exercising all day.

"Fuutarou, are you still at the office?"

"Yeah, there's still work to finish. I probably won't be home until 3 AM. You should go to sleep first."

"..."

Yotsuba fell silent for a moment. It was the answer she had expected, but it still weighed heavily on her heart.

"Alright, don't push yourself too hard." She said softly.

The call ended, leaving silence in the room.

Yotsuba placed her phone on the bedside table and stared blankly at the ceiling. Right now, her sexual desire was at its peak, and she didn't know how to relieve it since her husband wasn't home.

She bit her lip, feeling restless. The large bed felt cold, as if reminding her that she was sleeping alone.

"Maybe sleeping will calm me down."

After that, Yotsuba pulled up her blanket and lay down on the large bed meant for two. However, the size of the bed felt overwhelmingly big with just her in it.

"Why haven't I gotten pregnant yet…?" She whispered softly, her voice barely audible in the quiet room.

She remembered how Itsuki affectionately called Ren her husband even though they weren't officially married. In contrast, she and Fuutarou, who had been married for two years, didn't even have a affectionate nickname for each other. Their relationship felt more like a couple who had just started dating rather than a married couple.

Yotsuba bit her lip. Maybe it was just her imagination, but lately, she felt a distance growing between them. Fuutarou was always busy with work, and when he finally came home, he was too tired to have long conversations.

Then, there was one thing that kept bothering her.

"Why haven't I gotten pregnant after two years of marriage…?"

"Itsuki, who's only been with Rokuhara-san for less than a year, is already pregnant. Is it just a matter of time? Or is there something wrong with me?"

Yotsuba let out a deep sigh.

"Could there be something wrong with my body… or with Fuutarou?"

The idea of consulting a doctor crossed her mind. If there was a problem, they could find a solution immediately. But…

"Should we consult Father?"

The father of the quintuplets, Nakano Maruo, was a renowned doctor.

However, Yotsuba quickly vetoed that idea.

Asking Fuutarou to check their fertility might hurt his feelings. She knew her husband's personality—a stubborn man who took pride in being the head of the family. If she brought up this topic without preparation, Fuutarou might feel like his manhood was being questioned.

Yotsuba buried her face in the pillow, trying to dispel her increasingly chaotic thoughts.

"Maybe I'm just overthinking things."

Yet, that uneasy feeling remained in her heart.

An hour passed unnoticed. Yotsuba had tried various sleeping positions, rolling left and right, staring at the ceiling, and then closing her eyes tightly. But no matter how hard she tried, her mind remained restless.

It wasn't just because Fuutarou still hadn't come home, but also because of an indescribable emptiness she felt.

"Sorry, Fuutarou, I can't hold it in anymore."

Biting her lip, Yotsuba got out of bed and walked to the kitchen.

When she opened the fridge, she took out a long eggplant and brought it to the bedroom.

In the grand, classically styled Kujou family residence, the night felt eerily quiet. The dim light from the crystal chandelier cast a faint glow on the marble floor, while the old wall clock ticked softly, marking the passage of time.

In one of the rooms on the second floor, a girl sat at her desk, immersed in her work.

She had a strikingly beautiful face—her pale porcelain skin almost seemed translucent under the light. Her sharp, sapphire-blue eyes, full of calmness, hinted at extraordinary intelligence, paired with a cold expression that seemed to keep the world at a distance. Her long silver hair flowed softly, neatly tied into a half-ponytail, adding to her elegant aura.

She was Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou, or Alya, as her family and close ones called her. As the younger sister of Maria Mikhailovna Kujou, she was known as a graceful and talented figure, yet also cold in the eyes of many.

After spending several hours flipping through the pages of a thick textbook in front of her, Alya finally closed it with a soft sigh. Fatigue began to creep into her body, and she realized it was already late. Although diligent in her studies, she also understood the importance of maintaining her health—getting enough sleep would help her focus better at school tomorrow.

"I didn't realize it was this late. Masha is probably already asleep." Alya guessed.

However, before resting, there was one thing she needed to do first.

Getting up from her chair, Alya stretched for a moment before walking out of her room, her footsteps almost soundless. Elegantly, she made her way to the dimly lit hallway, intending to use the bathroom before bed.

As she neared the bathroom, her ears caught a strange sound—a faint choking noise, followed by the unmistakable sound of vomiting coming from behind the door. Her brow furrowed. The sound was coming from inside the bathroom.

"Masha?!"

Without thinking, Alya stepped closer. But before she could knock, the door opened on its own, and there, in front of the toilet, was her older sister, Maria Mikhailovna Kujou, or Masha, as she was more commonly called, crouching with a pale face. Her hands gripped the edge of the toilet, while her body still trembled slightly from the lingering nausea.

Worried, Alya immediately approached her.

"Masha! Are you sick? Should I call an ambulance?" She asked anxiously, ready to turn and grab her phone.

Masha shook her head slowly, though her expression still looked exhausted. In a soft voice, she reassured her younger sister.

"I'm fine, Alya-chan. It's just… a little discomfort. No need to worry."

Alya wasn't entirely convinced. Her eyes scrutinized her sister's face but found no clear signs of illness. Still, she crouched beside Masha and gently patted her back, trying to provide comfort.

"Drink some water first."

She took a glass from the sink and handed it to Masha. Her sister accepted it with a faint smile and sipped the water slowly.

After a while, Masha seemed a little better. Alya helped guide her out of the bathroom and escorted her back to her room.

"Are you sure you don't need to see a doctor?" Alya asked once more as they arrived at Masha's room.

"I'm sure. It's just fatigue. Don't worry, Alya-chan. It's already late, you should get some sleep." Masha answered softly.

There was no way she could say the reason she was vomiting was because she was in the early stages of pregnancy, right?

What kind of expression would Alya make? Masha kind of wanted to see it but dismissed the thought.

"..."

Although not entirely convinced, Alya didn't want to press further. She knew her sister wasn't the type to make others worry unnecessarily.

"Alright… if anything happens, call me, okay?"

"Of course."

With that, Alya bid her sister goodnight and left the room. However, her mind was still filled with questions.

Lately, Masha had been vomiting frequently. She also craved sour foods more often, something she had never liked before.

"This isn't like the usual Masha." Alya frowned.

But even in her wildest imagination, she never would have guessed that her virtuous, image-conscious older sister would be pregnant… while still a high school student.
