Chapter 11: Hime-Miko Receives a Prophecy
Hime-Miko.
They are women descended from the Divine Ancestor, the former Earth Mother Goddess. They hold a high status in Japanese Mage Association and are blessed with various innate abilities that ordinary people cannot learn.
These abilities include Spirit Vision, which allows them to access the Void Memories in the Netherworld, granting them insights into the past and, indirectly, predictions of the future. Additionally, they possess powers such as Telekinesis, Spirit Sensing, Disaster Purification, and Future Prophecy (Divination).
That afternoon, in the temple courtyard bathed in the light of the setting sun, a high school girl named Mariya Yuri was calmly sweeping. Her uniform skirt fluttered slightly in the evening breeze, and the soft sound of her broom blended with the distant chirping of birds. Yuri was one of the Hime-Miko with the strongest Spirit Vision, although she was still learning to control her abilities.
Suddenly, her eyes widened. The world around her shook as her Spirit Vision activated without warning. In an instant, she caught a glimpse of the future—a vague silhouette of an archer from the Mainland searching for a trapped monkey, and a young man claiming the throne of a new supreme ruler.
The vision was so intense that her head throbbed sharply. Dizziness struck her, and her body staggered, nearly collapsing to the ground.
"Yuri-san!" Another miko rushed to catch her before she fell completely. "What happened to you?"
"Haah... Haah..."
Yuri struggled to catch her breath. Her face was pale, and cold sweat dripped from her temples. In a weak voice, she described the vision she had seen. Her words were fragmented, her interpretation difficult to grasp, but the anxiety implied within them was palpable.
"Contact... the History Compilation Committee..." Yuri whispered, her hand gripping the arm of the miko holding her. "They must know... a Devil King will be born in Japan."
"A Devil King?!"
Tension filled the temple. The mikos exchanged worried glances. But what was more surprising was that Yuri wasn't the only one experiencing this.
All Hime-Miko with Spirit Vision abilities had similar experiences. Some of them were still sitting, gasping for breath, while others were trying to make sense of the visions they had received. This was no coincidence.

Akihabara is a paradise for otaku around the world. Along the streets, cosplayers strolled casually in various anime character costumes, maids stood on the sidewalks handing out flyers with charming smiles, while stores were filled with anime merchandise, manga, and cutting-edge electronics.
However, Ren was no longer the otaku he had been in his previous life. His perspective on Akihabara had changed. Today, he had come not to hunt for merchandise, but to buy the best-spec laptop available on the market.
In addition to being the center of ACG culture, Akihabara is also known as the best place in Japan for electronics and parts shopping. Ren stepped into one of the largest electronics stores.
A store employee, a middle-aged man in a neat uniform, greeted him politely.
"Welcome! How can I help you?"
Without hesitation, Ren immediately listed the specifications he wanted—the fastest processor, the largest RAM, the most powerful graphics card, the best SSD storage, and a high refresh rate screen.
The employee was stunned. It wasn't every day he heard such a request from a high school student.
"Um... a computer with those specs is very expensive."
Ren simply smiled faintly. He didn't need an explanation about the price.
Unlike ordinary high school students who relied on pocket money from their parents, Ren had his own source of wealth.
With Insight Gaze, he could assess the true value of antiques or historical artifacts that most people considered worthless. Thanks to this supernatural ability, he had profited from selling rare artworks and artifacts he found at flea markets or antique auctions.
Thanks to this business, his wealth far exceeded the annual salaries of dozens of salarymen.
"Just show me the best one."
A few minutes later, Ren left the store with his dream laptop in hand. This laptop wasn't for gaming, but a tool for gathering information.

Arriving at the apartment, Ren took off his shoes and announced, "I'm home."
In the living room, two young women were doing yoga.
"You're back, hubby."
Itsuki—his (unmarried) beautiful wife with long pink hair—smiled warmly, greeting him gently.
Yotsuba turned and greeted him cheerfully.
"Welcome back, Rokuhara-san!"
However, that simple happiness soon turned into a scene that made Yotsuba annoyed.
Without the slightest hesitation, Ren stepped closer and kissed Itsuki. Their lips met, and it wasn't just a simple kiss—their tongues intertwined.
Under Yotsuba's awkward and envious gaze, Itsuki shyly returned the kiss from the man who had made her belly swell for nine months.
This wasn't the first time.
Yotsuba had often witnessed moments like this.
However, every time she saw their intimacy, she couldn't help but compare it to her own relationship with her husband.
The comparison was utterly disgusting.
With cheeks flushed red, Itsuki finally broke the kiss and glanced at Yotsuba, who was watching them.
Trying to normalize the atmosphere, Itsuki cleared her throat and asked, "What did you bring?"
Ren held up the shopping bag from Akihabara.
"A new laptop."
Itsuki simply nodded, not asking further.
Beside her, Yotsuba could only puff her cheeks and look away.
—It felt unfair.

After that, Ren went to his room.
He changed out of his uniform into casual clothes, then placed his new laptop on the study desk.
Ren sat in front of his new laptop, his fingers beginning to dance across the keyboard.
The first step was to install various specialized software.
Unlike most people who only downloaded standard applications, Ren installed hacking tools rarely known to the general public.
His plan was simple—to hack into the government's information database!
For him, this wasn't just a casual experiment or a test of his skills.
He needed information about the Campione. Only then could he formulate a plan.
"No knowledge is useless, only time has yet to prove its value... Wow, who would have thought the hacking skills I learned out of curiosity would be so useful." Ren was grateful that his past self fell into the category of people who liked to try new things.
With his photographic memory, Ren had studied many disciplines, including hacking.
But he didn't just learn on his own.
Thanks to the resources of the Nine Dragons family, he had the opportunity to learn directly under the guidance of HMEI7—one of the best hackers in Indonesia.
To the average person, the name HMEI7 might sound unfamiliar, but in the hacker community, HMEI7 was quite respected. His name had once been listed as a top mass defacer on zone-h. Many large sites, such as Pizza Hut, IBM, and other major sites, had been successfully hacked by him. According to data from zone-h.org, he had taken down 294,402 websites, including 139,721 single Ips and 154,681 mass defacements.
"Done. Let's begin."
Having completed all the necessary preparations, Ren could start hacking anytime.
