Brothel Manager : Unexpected Encounter with A Hidden Family Heirloom

Chapter 441: 441 : Invitation by Taurus family

In a dimly lit room within the Abdullah family estate, Das sat across from General Harries Singh, a man whose military decorum contrasted sharply with the underworld complexities Das navigated daily. The General, his expression grave, stared at Das like criminal.

"Mr. Das, I even met the hidden family patriarch's in one day with my position. But for you I waited like lonely house." The General said in a serious tone without moving his gaze.

"It's just a bad timing, General. I don't have time to explain all my reasons. Could you please come to the point." Das uttered as sat leisurely while holding an apple in his hands.

"Mr. Das, the two hidden family belonged to Europe and South East Asia were in a constant war…"

As Das interrupted, The General stopped speaking. After taking a bite Das began speaking in a complaining tone.

"See, General. I already know all hidden family drama and your efforts in bringing me peace. So come to the point. Why are you here?" Das questioned without caring about General's feelings.

"My time also limited, Mr. Das. I will speak directly then." The General began as he stared at a young man who not even half of his age commanding him like a superior officer.

"Mr. Das, the Aries and Taurus families have requested your presence at a peace meeting with the Farus family. This isn't just a request; it's a necessity. They Aries family patriarch said he won't agree to the peace meeting if you are absent." General Singh explained, his voice firm.

Das leaned back, his eyes assessing. "And why is my presence so crucial? For what reason that old geezer wants to see me? "

The General shocked at first as Das dared to call the Aries family head an old geezer.

"The Taurus family patriarch said you helped the Farus family in capturing the young master, the only heir of Aries family. May be for that reason he wants to see you." The General explained observing Das as a change occurred on his face after hearing what he said.

Das became silent as he contemplated. Till now, he don't know that someone other than Farus family, already found out his involvement in Luis's capture. That night he used the Aries family bow to create a cosmic barrier to avoid any onlookers. That's why he is felt surprised after hearing general words.

But one thing is sure, no one found that he used the Aries family bow. Otherwise, armies should be marching at him by now to capture it any cost. Holding two hidden family heirlooms is always an advantage to any family.

As Das became silent with thoughts, the General continued to speak to persuade Das.

"Mr. Das, A war between hidden families isn't just their private affair. It affects the whole country – our economy, our security. Financial wars are already causing ripples."

"Also, I also assure you, your safety will be my personal responsibility. We can't afford any mishaps," the General promised, his tone sincere.

Das pondered for a moment, then asked with a curious look "What if the peace meeting fails? What if these families decide to go to war anyway? Then what do you do General?" Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire

General Singh's response was immediate. "Then we will request they choose a neutral location for their conflict, away from civilian populations. We must keep national interests safe."

Das chuckled, a sound that seemed out of place in the seriousness of the conversation. "A neutral ground for a family war? Fascinating. I'll attend this meeting, General. Set the place and time." Das declared as he finished the apple.

The General, slightly puzzled by Das's amusement but relieved at his agreement, nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Das. This means a great deal for the stability of the region. I'll inform the families and arrange for everything."

As General Singh stood up to leave, Das's voice stopped him. "General, just a thought. Aren't you curious why these families holds supreme power over all nations?"

The General paused, his hand on the door. "I've learned that in matters involving the hidden families, it's best not to delve too deep. Some waters are too turbulent to navigate."

Das smiled, a cryptic expression on his face. "Wise words, General. But sometimes, the turbulent waters hide the most interesting secrets."

With a final nod, General Singh left the room, his mind already on his next meeting with the Aries family head in Africa.

Das remained seated, lost in thought. The upcoming peace meeting was more than just a negotiation; it was a convergence of hidden agendas and power plays. His role, seemingly that of a side character, could very well be the catalyst in a game much larger than any of them realized.

As the door closed behind the General, Das stood up and began walking out, his mind working through strategies and possibilities. In the world of hidden families, nothing was ever as simple as it seemed, and Das was ready to play his part in the unfolding drama.

The air was still charged from Das's meeting with General Singh when Sana, the daughter of the Abdullah family, approached him with a sense of urgency. In her hand was an envelope, its appearance unusual and intriguing.

"A man in a Lamborghini gave me this for you," Sana explained breathlessly. "He said it was urgent and important."

Das took the letter, eyeing the seal – a scorpion embossed in tattered red wax, the unmistakable symbol of the Taurus family. He didn't need to break the seal; his advanced vision allowed him to read the contents without opening it. The letter was an invitation to a dinner at the Taj Hotel, a venue that spoke of luxury and power.

A contemplative silence enveloped him as he pieced together the potential meanings behind this unexpected invitation. A slow, cunning smile spread across his face as he realized the full extent of the ploy.

"Thank you, Sana." he said dismissively, his mind already racing with plans and strategies.

Leaving Sana, Das made his way to Princess Serena's room. The princess, resting in the comfort of her quarters, was startled awake by his entrance. She quickly composed herself, approached him.

"Serena, ask your family to gather soldiers, warships, weapons. I'll give you the location soon, also…" Das began, his tone leaving no room for doubt.

Serena listened intently, her initial surprise giving way to a focused determination. She nodded in understanding, aware of the gravity of Das's words.

"But why? What's happening?" she finally asked, seeking clarity amidst the unfolding chaos.

Das explained the situation in brief, detailing the likely failure of the upcoming peace meeting and the potential for conflict.

Serena's expression hardened with resolve. "We'll be ready. My family won't shy away from what's necessary."

As the conversation drew to a close, Serena hesitated before speaking again. " Das, please stay with me a little longer. You've been away for so long."

In response, Das embraced her, a rare moment of tenderness in his world of machinations and power plays. He carried her back to bed, where she fell asleep in his arms, a peaceful contrast to the impending storm.

As the evening deepened, Das silently extricated himself from Serena's embrace. The stakes were high, and there was much to prepare. The invitation from the Taurus family was more than a mere dinner.
