Chapter 7: Chapter 7
Bao's expression didn't falter, and he kept his smile, but inside he was already calculating his pros and cons from it. The one main benefit he could think of is that he won't be commanded anymore by someone he doesn't think is worthy to command him, because it always pinches his high ego to the point that he is always thinking of one way or another to kill the king, but since Kizer doesn't order it yet, he didn't do it. He may be prideful, but he knows his boundaries, he won't absolutely get in Kizer's plans due to the fear and respect he had for him. As for the cons, he couldn't think of something that personally affected him once he becomes a king. All in all, it was a great opportunity for him to finally stop being a dog for that king, so he won't let it go: "Of course, I will make sure to not fail you with your grand plans for this world."
Kizer looked at Bao with an unamused expression, "Go," then he went to pick another book again and started reading it. Seeing this, Bao silently left, not wanting to disturb Kizer any further, since that's the last thing he wanted to do. And as he left the library, for the first time, his smile felt genuine, but the malice that continues to uncontrollably radiate from him will block any of those thoughts from others.

Bao arrived inside a spacious throne room filled with gold that is designed in many ways. It really looks like it was built for a king. He can sense many hidden forces within the hall, it feels empty for normal people, but when you have highly advanced Earth bending skills, you will feel isolated by how many special guards are placed on every corner of the hall once you sense it.
However, these forces don't actually respond to the actual king but to Bao, who can order them to kill the king, and they will do it without any hesitation. He has specially picked and trained these elite forces of Earth Benders ever since, so they're very loyal to him and Kizer, who sometimes visits their training and even gives some insights on Earth bending which significantly improve their skills.
"You finally arrive, my friend!" the king said as he leaned forward from his throne with a wide smile. "How is it? Did you find anything in that library?"
The king looked like an average middle-aged man with a healthy look, he was wearing a green suit and, on top, another green coat with some gold in the middle as a design. He also wore a simple green hat with the symbol of earth in the middle.
Bao smiled and bowed, deeply hiding his irritation, then said, "No, it seems that my suspicion is wrong."
"No worries, it's better to look for the threat even if they're not there than not look for it when they're there. Doesn't what I said make sense to you? I think it is, but whatever," the king said, shrugging, then leaning to his throne with a bored expression. "How come that Ba Sing Se hasn't sent me letters for a week now? How should I know if the Fire Nation has finally come to their senses and stopped invading us, or if they need reinforcements from us? I also heard that those rotten traitor rebels had also got a new leader, and they seem to have suddenly gotten a lot stronger and more aggressive towards us. Bao, can you tell me what I can do to help with the current situation?"
"I do think that the best moves we can do right now are to strengthen ourselves in this region by supporting the other cities around us to build their militaries and strengthen them more, since the stronger they are, the safer we are from evil forces such as the Fire Nation. And so, while the cities around us continue to grow their defensive abilities, we could send some of our soldiers to support the front line. If only not for those DAMN REBELS, we could have supported the front line more than we do right now," Bao said with emotion to try and make it more convincing. And the king, trusting his advice, nodded with a confident smirk. "Hm.. I approve that advice. Now that I think about it, some reports told me that some cities around us were also building a wall to surround the city, so your advice is really good timing. Now those Fire Nation bastards will hesitate to attack this region once they finish building those walls.
Anyways, I want you to try and communicate with Ba Sing Se for now, and I want a response within this month so I can have knowledge about what's going on right now."
"It shall be done immediately, King Yong," Bao said as he turned and signaled one of the advisors to complete that task that the King ordered. Of course, that won't be happening, but it had to be done in front of the king to make him think that he's still in control.

Kizer arrived at a largely deserted area far away from Omashu, it was filled with mountains, and even though it's deserted, there are still many trees here. It also contained animals that he sensed ran away after he arrived here. Well, it's not that his presence made them scared, but because of the massive pillar that is made of rock that he used to fly and arrive here. It made a large sound after the impact on the surface and also caused a small earthquake, so the animals ran away in the direction their instincts told them to when they felt the danger.
Seeing this, Kizer felt that it was amusing, so he went and lifted a massive boulder into the air and fired it towards a massive red animal that was running away. Once the boulder hit the red animal, it was squashed on the ground with green blood splashing everywhere. Kizer barely even moved, but the earth just responded to his commands with ease, it needed a large amount of energy, but he basically had unlimited amounts of it. "Now then, let's see if I can finally do this."
He turned his gaze towards a small mountain and held his hand up towards it, then the mountain began to shake and cracks started appearing on its lowest part. A few moments later, the mountain began floating slowly. Anyone who saw it would immediately think that it was done by a God because it's impossible for a bender to do this except Kyoshi, and for many, Kyoshi's feat of separating a peninsula from the mainland seemed just a myth, so what Kizer is doing right now is impossible, but he's doing it.
"It's harder than I thought," Kizer said as he felt that some parts of the mountain couldn't be controlled by his bending, which could collapse it midair, but thankfully his high talent was rapidly adapting his skills to fix that error. As the mountain floated, Kizer's eyes looked at it proudly. "This is the power of a God..."
A few seconds later, he started laughing, causing the floating mountain to shake. "Hahaha! I would never have thought I would see this back in my previous life, but I'm doing this myself! Now it won't be long till my creations conquer this world, and I would love to watch it play out before my eyes..." He then turned around and put his hands on his back, stopping his bending and causing the mountain to fall back to the surface. When it landed, it caused a strong earthquake that caused cracks on the ground, and it even reached Omashu, though it could only be felt barely.
