Chapter 435: The Ancient Path
```
Qinchuan's eyes were like lightning, his Innate True Qi soared into the sky.
The four stone statues came fully to life, opening their eyes and each bursting forth with a dazzling golden light. Then the statues began to move, thundering toward the fleeing Great Dao Palace experts in pursuit.
From the statues coming to life, to using the Thunderous Force to subdue two individuals, and then to the many Dao Palace experts fleeing the site, everything had happened too quickly. Even as Qinchuan pursued them to the end of the ancient road with the four stone statues, everyone else remained in shocked stupor, yet to come back to their senses.
After a long while, finally a Martial Artist recovered, exclaiming in disbelief, "Fuck! How did those four stone statues start obeying that kid?"
"This kid must have obtained some heritage in the secret realm, gaining the method to control the statues through that heritage."
Speculated another Martial Artist.
"Forget it, let's hurry up and follow. To see a Martial Artist of the Ninth Layer of Spirit Martial being pursued by several Dao Palace experts is already bizarre, but now it's reversed, we can't miss this."
Just moments ago, Qinchuan was the one being hunted by the eight Dao Palace experts, but in a mere blink of an eye, the situation had reversed—the scene now showed Qinchuan, alone, chasing after several Dao Palace experts with the stone statues.
Not wanting to miss out, many Martial Artists once again spurred their movement techniques, shooting out numerous Divine Rainbows, pursuing in the direction of the departing crowd.
Meanwhile, a mysterious figure in a black robe watched the crowd depart from afar, and spoke faintly to the Sound Transmission Stone in his hand, "The eight guards have lost!"
This ancient azure-golden road stretched along the city.
Because of the news that a Spiritual Treasure had appeared in the Life Prohibition Zone, the road was crowded with many Martial Artists. Now, a chase and battle unfolded, leading straight to the Life Prohibition Zone.
They chased and fled. The Dao Palace experts used their Dao Magic intensely, their abounding auras terrifying, hastening along at great speeds.
Behind them, the four huge stone statues moved mightily, shaking the very ground thunderously. Although they were cumbersome, with each step they covered several miles, closely following the group ahead.
In the midst of this pursuit, Dao Magic flew haphazardly, the azure-golden ancient road was upended, the earth split open, and magma spewed out, releasing terrifying Earth Fire and magma.
The four stone statues unleashed their Life-bound Secret Techniques, Lei Mang and great green waves surged to the heavens, dazzlingly brilliant. The Secret Techniques were activated, whipping up terrifying waves which crushed all the already ruined walls of the city into powder.
Qinchuan stood proudly atop the roaring stone statue's head, his hair flowing, cold and indifferent eyes watching the fleeing crowd, with a Double-Wing Demon Tiger glowing beside him, appearing more solid after the fierce battle.
Ji Huo'er's face was filled with excitement, standing atop the Chi Zhen's stone statue head. Though only a stone statue, the ferocity of the Chi Zhen as it passed was unparalleled, giving her an unrivaled thrill, as if it truly were a Red Demon Sparrow, spurring her excitement.
She had a mischievous grin, her canine tooth showing, as she pointed at the people ahead, "Faster, even faster, these people dared to attack big brother, let's kill them all!"
"Ah——"
At that moment, the Giant Bin once again unleashed the Nine-Thunder Skyquake, thick Thunder Magic slashed through the void, striking with precision the Red Demon Sparrow's Dharma Aspect in mid-air, the Red Demon Sparrow let out a short, sharp scream before its body was blown into fragments.
```
She was the first to flee, but because of her flying escape, she became the first person struck by the Lei Mang.
The remaining people escaping were filled with indescribable fear, their bodies glowing, propelling their mana to the extreme, trying to flee from this place and away from this demon.
Although the group that had been following her had already witnessed the terror of the stone statue, every time the giant beast launched an attack, they felt as if the Thunder God above the Nine Heavens were striking his thunder drum, hitting them at the core of their hearts, sending chills through their spine, shaking uncontrollably.
On the ancient trail, vast and long, with cities far away, four stone statues simultaneously unleashed their life-bound secret techniques. Not long after, Xia Yuanman and a man with a spider with eight legs on his face were hit by the giant beast's and Chi Zhen's life-bound secret techniques, fading from the realm of life and death.
Martial artists who were observing the battle from afar were shocked again, and among the warriors following from a distance were those from the Heavenly God's holy land. Seeing their Saint Heir vanish between life and death, they turned pale, and many didn't continue chasing down the ancient road.
They decided to return, to spread the news of the Saint Heir being killed by Qinchuan.
The ancient road was long, but it also had an end, and at the end of this road lay the fearsome Life Prohibition Zone.
After pursuing for a day and two nights, in the early hours of the third day, they finally reached the end of the ancient road, with the Life Prohibition Zone not far ahead.
At the edge of the Life Prohibition Zone, a graceful and slender mysterious woman appeared before their eyes. With the news brought by men in black robes, they were already aware of Qinchuan and the others' arrival, and many disciples of the Netherworld Hall gathered at the entrance of the Prohibition Zone, waiting for Qinchuan and the others.
After the long pursuit, eight Dao Palace experts were mostly wounded, and now only the ones wearing the Heaven Devouring and bovine masks, along with You Canghai from the Tianshui Sect, were still alive.
But even these three were already covered in wounds, blood staining the skies, bones splintered, with terrifying injuries that defied description, looking as though they had crawled out from an endless blood pool, utterly horrifying.
The man wearing the Heaven Devouring beast mask cried out mournfully, "Holy Maiden save me! Esteemed one save me!"
It seemed that the cries for help from the Heaven Devouring beast were heard; in the next moment, two massive figures suddenly flew out from beside the mysterious woman in the white robe.
"Who is this insolent youth, to have the gall to chase and kill our people from the Netherworld Hall?"
The two huge figures then soared into the air, striding over with their physical bodies, their silhouettes growing immensely large, eventually becoming as big as stone statues, standing in front of Qinchuan and the others, ready to confront them.
The three of them had narrowly escaped from death's grasp, breathing a sigh of relief only after surviving such an ordeal.
Ji Huo'er was the most zealous in pursuing them, the first to stand atop Chi Zhen, closest to the two figures opposite her. These two beings, larger than the stone statues, did not seem to express any flow of mana, but just standing there before her exerted an immense pressure on her.
This pressure was something she had never experienced before, reaching deep into her heart. Even when facing her clan's ancient ancestor, she had never felt this oppressed, leaving her somewhat breathless for a time.
Not only was their presence overwhelmingly oppressive and their appearance bizarre, their facial features were not quite the same as the human race's, and each of their faces had only one eye, situated right below the forehead.
Ji Huo'er patted her flat chest, exclaiming in shock, "Whoa, what kind of monster is this? How come it looks so weird, scared the life out of me!"
On the Divine Wilderness Continent, various fierce beasts roamed, and there were plenty of strangely shaped beasts and races. Even though this giant had only one eye, it still somewhat resembled a human shape and wasn't too outlandish. Ji Huo'er's exaggerated shock and mockery were evidently just her having some fun.
"How dare you disrespect me!"
