(A/N: How's the new cover? Looks good?)

The next moment, a few of his minions come and immobilize Jinx, she was too weak to do anything but struggle.

Singed pulls out a syringe, it was very familiar to Jinx, it was the same she used to pinch Bael with.

She was scared. And Singed was going to inject her with pure Shimmer, surely a way to control her from now on, that way, he'll be able to handle that weapon effortlessly.

Jinx tried fighting back but her muscle soreness due to malnutrition paralyzed her members. It was only adrenaline on the work, and once the effect wears off, she'll pass out.

"This is for your own good, my child." Singed says, piercing her skin with the tip of the needle.

A scorching fire tore through Jinx's veins. Her body convulsed violently, her vision twisting into a chaotic nightmare. Images of Bael flooded her mind—his back turned, walking away, leaving her behind. She reached out for him, but no matter how much she screamed, he never looked back.

Then, the scene shifted. Bael was with her. Caitlyn. The prim and proper enforcer stood beside him, her arrogant smirk dripping with superiority, as if mocking Jinx's very existence. The sight burned into her like acid, the betrayal cutting deeper than any wound.

Tears streamed down her face, hot and endless. "No! NO!" she shrieked, thrashing against her restraints.

And then, something snapped.

A high-pitched whirring filled the room, followed by a deep, ominous hum. Pow-Pow Eta—Bael's creation, their creation—reacted. The weapon came alive, vibrating violently as if enraged. Singed barely had time to react before it moved.

Like a living creature, Pow-Pow Eta broke free from its restraints, twisting through the air like it had a mind of its own. Sparks crackled around it, and in an instant, it rushed toward Jinx, drawn to her like a magnet.

Singed's eyes widened. Impossible.

But it was happening. The weapon belonged to her and her alone. It defied him, rejected him. No amount of science or control could sever the bond between Jinx and the creation she had poured her soul into.

As Pow-Pow Eta locked onto her, Jinx's wild, tear-filled eyes flickered. Somewhere, deep within the madness, a new light ignited. A dangerous one.

As Pow-Pow Zeta snapped into her hands, Jinx arched her back, letting out a bloodcurdling scream. Her body trembled, her fingers tightening around the weapon like it was her lifeline.

"BAEL!!!"

Her voice was raw, desperate, filled with an agony too deep to describe. Her pupils shrank to tiny pinpricks, her breath hitching between sobs and manic laughter.

"You think you can take me from him?!" she shrieked, her eyes darting wildly. "You think some stupid needles can make me forget?! Can rip him outta my head?! PFFT! WRONG! WRONG! WROOOONG!"

She threw her head back, laughing hysterically before snapping her gaze back to Singed. Her smile stretched unnaturally wide, her teeth bared like a rabid animal.

"Bael's gonna come back! You hear me, you crusty old freak?! My Bael! My genius! My MAN! And when he does—ooooooh when he does—" she giggled, tilting her head, "—he's gonna burn this whole shithole down. And you? Ohhh, youuuu?!"

Jinx licked her lips, dragging her fingers across the side of her face, smearing the tears that mixed with dirt and sweat.

"You'll be just another test subject! Another little rat for him to pick apart! No no—wait! Maybe he'll be creative! Maybe he'll turn your insides out! Hang 'em up like decorations! Bet you'd look real pretty in pink, Doc!"

She pressed Pow-Pow Zeta to her temple, her body shaking from a mix of Shimmer overload and raw, uncontrollable rage.

"So go on, jab me again! Fill me up, break me down! But you can't take him away from me! Can't! Can't! Can't! CAN'T!"

Singed takes a few steps back as Jinx prepares on using Pow-Pow Eta. He lifts his hands up in surrender and so does his minions. "Interesting, the weapon knows exactly your emotions and it reacted to them." Singed comments.

"I'M GONNA FUCK ALL OF YOU UP!!!" She shouts. As the barrels of Pow-Pow Eta started spinning, Singed poured a drop of his blood which reacted with Jinx, she started screaming and crying as she lost herself in the primitive Shimmer. But deep down, Bael's image is what kept her fighting.

She overcame the mind bending and raised Pow-Pow Eta, it shot Singed before his minions came and used themselves as body shields for him to escape.

Jinx started shooting and screaming everything on sight, when Pow-Pow Eta heated up, she pressed the release button and started shooting poisonous bullets which turned the place into a toxic wasteland.

Jinx's eyes gleamed in purple as the animal inside her roared into life.

Bodies dropped like ragdolls, shredded by her relentless fire. Those lucky enough to dodge her bullets weren't spared—the air itself had become a death sentence. The toxic mist slithered into their lungs, burning, corroding from the inside out. They choked, clawing at their throats, eyes bulging in terror.

Jinx?

She thrived in it.

She inhaled the poison like it was fresh air, her body shivering with ecstasy as it coursed through her veins. The shimmer, the madness, the chaos—it all fueled her, made her stronger.

"Let's get out of here Doc!" The minions protected Singed and escorted him quickly out of the lab. Meanwhile Jinx's carnage didn't stop.

"You wanted to use me, Doc?!" she howled, her voice drenched in hysteria. "YOU WANTED A MONSTER?! YOU GOT ONE NOW!!!"

Another round of bullets ripped through the air, painting the walls in fresh crimson. A survivor, barely clinging to life, whimpered in agony, his body convulsing from the toxin. Jinx crouched beside him, tilting her head as she watched him struggle.

"Aww, poor thing," she cooed, running a blood-streaked hand down his face. Then, without hesitation, she pulled the trigger.

The shot rang out, and his skull split open.

Jinx giggled, wiping the splattered blood from her cheek. "Oopsie~"

Jinx stormed out of the hideout, the air thick with smoke and the stench of death clinging to her skin. Behind her, the lair of Singed lay in ruins, bodies scattered like broken dolls, the toxic mist still writhing through the halls like a vengeful ghost.

But she didn't look back. She didn't care.

All that mattered was Bael.

Her grip on Pow-Pow Eta tightened as she sprinted through the underbelly of Zaun, eyes wild, breaths ragged. Every step fueled by a singular, all-consuming thought—find him.

"BAEL!" she screamed into the night, her voice splitting through the silence like a gunshot.

No answer.

She snarled, baring her teeth as frustration bubbled up in her chest. Where is he?! Where did they take him?!

She didn't know. But that didn't matter.

She was going to find him. Even if it meant ripping apart every city, every person, every wretched soul that stood in her way.

"I'll tear this world apart a thousand times over if I have to!" she growled, her hands trembling with rage.

Blood, fire, smoke—it didn't matter. She'd burn Piltover to the ground. She'd make the enforcers talk. She'd kill and kill and kill until there was no one left to stop her.

She was coming for him.

And nothing in this cursed world would stand in her way.

...

It was escape day for Bael, Beca and Vi. However, something unexpected happened.

An enforcer was doing the usual patrol when Beca started crying and calling for help, it was unlike her behavior so the enforcer was alarmed.

She said that Bael was super sick, he saw him in a corner, he vomited Shimmer.

The enforcer quickly went inside to check up on him, he restrained Beca and closed the bars behind him. Then, he started poking Bael, he didn't respond.

Then, Bael slowly reached, hardly, to the enforcers leg. The enforcer felt a cold shiver as Bael's mechanical arm connected to his leg.

"Wait... He can control it again?" He asked, referring to his mechanical hand.

The second after, a boom-boom tattoo appeared on the enforcer's leg and immediately imploded, killing him on the spot.

Bael got up, he was just putting on an act, he grabbed the enforcer's keys then freed himself.

He grabbed Beca's hand then they left, "Wow! Hello there!" Beca was shocked by how straight forward he was. She was surprised and most definitely aroused.

They sprinted down the dimly lit corridors, their footsteps barely making a sound against the cold prison floor.

Bael didn't hesitate when they reached Vi's cell. He jammed the key into the lock, twisting it sharply. The heavy metal door groaned open, and Vi stepped out, cracking her knuckles.

"Took you long enough," she muttered, but her smirk faded when she saw the blood splattered on Bael's arm. "…The hell happened?"

"No time," Bael cut in, already moving. "The enforcer I killed had a heartbeat monitor. Once it flatlined, it would've sent an automatic report about his vitals dropping. That means they know something's wrong."

Vi's expression darkened. "How long?"

Bael's mechanical arm whirred as he flexed his fingers, calculating.

"Five minutes. Tops." He turned to the others. "We need to reach the ventilation system before they shut everything down."

Beca exhaled sharply, steadying herself. "Then we'd better run."

No more words were needed. They bolted down the corridor, the countdown already ticking in their minds.

...

Sevika stormed into Silco's office, slamming the door open without ceremony. The dim light from the large window behind him barely illuminated her tense expression.

"She's gone."

Silco, who had been swirling a glass of liquor absentmindedly, froze mid-motion. His mismatched eyes flicked up to her. "Gone?" His voice was eerily calm, but the undertone of danger was unmistakable.

"Escaped. Left the lab in ruins. Singed couldn't contain her."

Silco shot up from his chair, his usual calm shattered alongside it. "HOW?!" He roared, shards of glass cutting into his palm, but he didn't seem to notice.

Sevika tensed. She had seen him angry before, but not like this. "Her weapon—it moved on its own. It responded to her emotions. Singed tried to control her, but whatever Bael built wasn't just a gun anymore. It was alive."

Silco slammed his bloody hand onto the desk. "He told me it was beyond Hextech. That it was beyond Shimmer." He gritted his teeth, his breath ragged with fury. "And I let that arrogant genius convince me she would be mine."

His grip on the glass turned to steel. "Find her, no matter what it takes." His voice was getting irritated.

Sevika gave a sharp nod and left without another word.

Silco leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled beneath his chin. For the first time in a long while, a flicker of unease crawled up his spine.

Bael had promised him a miracle. Instead, he might have just created a monster.
