Adventures of Leo in Tensura.

Chapter 5: 5 Entering Dwargon.

Reaching the Armed Nation of Dwargon was easier than expected. The Griffon's powerful wings carried us swiftly through the sky, and before long, the massive gates of the dwarven kingdom came into view,

As soon as we landed outside the city walls which were literally the mountains, I unsummoned the Griffon, its form dissolving into golden light before vanishing. My Nature Spirit, on the other hand, simply turned invisible, an ability that seemed instinctive for spirits.

The entrance to the kingdom was nothing short of grand, looming over the long lines of people waiting for entry. The crowd was diverse—humans, demi-humans, beastkin.

One group caught my eye—merchant-looking beastkin with canine features, their fur groomed neatly as they busily discussed trade routes. Most of the travelers appeared to be adventurers, traders, and mercenaries, their eyes wary but familiar with the bustling life around them.

Off to the side, another shorter line led to a smaller, heavily guarded gate. Judging by the richly dressed nobles and armored knights passing through, it was clearly a VIP entrance.

Unfortunately, we weren't VIPs.

With no other choice, Hinata and I joined the main line, waiting our turn. Despite the long queue, the guards at the front worked with efficiency, checking documents and inspecting cargo at a swift pace.

When our turn arrived, a heavily armored dwarf guard stepped forward, his eyes sharp as he looked us over.

"State your names and purpose for entry." His voice was deep and authoritative.

I kept my expression calm, just as I had in my past life during border inspections.

"Leo. She's Hinata. We were traveling through Jura Forest when we were attacked by monsters and bandits. And we lost our items." I motioned toward Hinata, who played her part well, lowering her gaze slightly to sell the idea of being a victim.

The dwarf raised an eyebrow but said nothing, so I continued.

"I took care of the threats. If proof is needed—" I gestured, summoning two items from my [Recall] spell

The impaled corpse of a Hound.

The bodies of the two bandits, their faces twisted in their final expressions.

Fortunately, we were the last people to join the queue, so there wasn't any commotion.

The dwarf guard studied them for a moment before narrowing his eyes at me.

"You took down a Jura Hound and two armed men? By yourself?"

I simply shrugged. "They weren't much trouble."

The dwarf let out a low hum, glancing between me and Hinata. "And the girl?"

"They were planning to capture and sell her." I didn't elaborate.

Hinata subtly clenched her fists, but she stayed quiet, letting me handle the situation.

After a moment, the dwarf nodded. "You have proof of your claims, and the kingdom appreciates travelers who deal with criminals." He turned to one of his subordinates. "Mark them as "temporary visitors. The usual entry fees. They are clean."

A different guard came forward as I took out the fees and handed us each a small metal plate, engraved with an entry number.

"These serve as your visitor permits. You are free to enter the city but don't cause trouble. If you plan to stay for long, visit the Guild Hall or the City Administration to register properly."

I nodded. "Understood."

With that, Hinata and I officially entered the Armed Nation of Dwargon.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that Dwargon was far ahead of its time. Despite being deep inside a massive underground cavern, the seamless blend of magic and technology made it feel as if we were walking through a fantasy metropolis. Glowing runes and enchanted crystals lined the streets, providing constant illumination, while mechanical constructs patrolled alongside guards, enforcing law and order.

The sheer engineering marvel of this place astounded me. The mountain walls acted as natural fortresses, making it nearly impossible for outsiders to invade. And that wasn't even mentioning the dragons that supposedly roamed the surrounding peaks.

Dragons...

I knew they were different from True Dragons, the pinnacle of existence. The only True Dragon I knew of was Veldoraa, the Storm Dragon, and if the stories were to be believed, she was less of a "creature" and more of a walking natural disaster. I had no doubt that she was terrifyingly powerful, but how strong? That was a question I would have to find out someday.

For now, though, I have more immediate concerns.

After a smooth registration process, we were officially recognized as residents. The process was surprisingly simple—just a basic criminal background check and a small fee of three silver coins per person. That granted us official Dwargon identification cards, which would allow us to stay in the city, and since Dwargon was recognized by almost all the countries, it would work on any other nation too.

Currently, we were staying in a cozy inn near the marketplace. Hinata was in the next room, fast asleep, completely exhausted from our journey. The Nature Spirit had curled up beside her, its tiny form glowing softly.

I, on the other hand, was far from tired.

Instead, I was experimenting with my abilities.

Until now, I had mostly summoned living beings, but if my theory was correct, I should be able to summon constructs as well—artificial entities with no true consciousness. I had already summoned a saddle for our Griffon ride earlier, so why not push the limits further?

Closing my eyes, I envisioned a towering warrior clad in heavy armor, its blade humming with raw energy. I could feel my magicules surging, responding to my thoughts.

The process began—

First, the legs. Thick, plated greaves formed from a mix of metal and arcane energy, giving off a faint purple glow.

Next, the torso. Broad, impenetrable armor manifested.

Finally, the helmet formed, with two pink horns.

And then—

The summoning was completed.

Standing before me was a P.E.K.K.A-like construct, its form exuding pure, destructive power. Its giant sword crackled with unstable energy, but unlike the real P.E.K.K.A, this one had no sentience.

It just stood there.

I exhaled, "That… took a lot of magicules."

Mommy P.E.K.K.A. is here.
