In the past five years, the top three positions in the Seven Stars Sword-Art Festival have all been claimed by the students of Bukyoku Academy.

Every year, the top three spots are dominated by Bukyoku Academy, making the other six schools seem like mere decorations, just going through the motions without any real chance of securing a place in the finals.

Kurono knew her rival well.
