Chapter 18: Struggles
The battlefield was a fractured void, space itself warping under the colossal forces clashing within it. Gojo, Naruto, Sukuna, and Toji stood firm, facing the ever-shifting form of the Anti-Spiral. The entity's presence distorted reality, its voice reverberating through their very souls.
"You persist in defiance of the void. But all spirals must fall into stillness."
Gojo wiped a streak of blood from his lips, his Six Eyes glowing with an eerie intensity. "Stillness isn't really my style." With a smirk, he raised his hand, energy crackling around his fingers. "Cursed Technique: Blue—Collapse!" A sphere of condensed attraction exploded outward, bending space and drawing in debris, forcing the Anti-Spiral's form to distort momentarily.
Naruto capitalized on the opening. "Sage Art: Rasenshuriken!" The spiraling chakra construct shot forward, illuminating the darkness. It connected, detonating with an explosion that rippled through the void. Yet, the Anti-Spiral merely reassembled, its formless body reforming as if it had never been harmed.
Toji's eyes narrowed. "We need something stronger." He vanished in a blur, his blade flashing in multiple directions at speeds that defied perception. The Anti-Spiral countered effortlessly, a wave of nothingness swallowing the attacks before they could land.
Sukuna chuckled, his four arms weaving intricate hand signs. "I'll show you how a real king fights." His Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine, erupted across the battlefield. Razor-thin slashes carved through the void, severing the Anti-Spiral's manifestation. The cosmic entity quivered but remained intact.
Then, the Anti-Spiral moved.
An unimaginable force crashed down on them, an absolute pressure that crushed everything beneath it. Space twisted into paradoxes, time bent into contradictions. Gojo's infinity flickered, Naruto's chakra wavered, Toji's body was forced to its limit, and even Sukuna found himself momentarily halted.
The Anti-Spiral's voice was absolute. "You do not understand the vastness of nothingness. Struggle all you wish—it is futile."
But Gojo only grinned wider. "That's funny." He raised his hands, forming the familiar sign. "Because I was just about to go limitless."
